Thoughts, suggestions, idea?
Please share any thoughts, ideas and suggestions on the mod. For example, map modes that you would like to see, other mods that you would like to see this mod support.

The only map mode I can think of that's missing from this amazing collection of map modes is some sort of Federation map mode. Where as Nations would be colored based on what federation they are in, and if they are in no federation the color is simply nuetral. This may be hard to implement however

The best one that I could come up with is the Political one which shows empries that are in federations and when you click on one of these it'll show federation members and leader.

As for seperate colors for different federations, yes it would be hard to implement with the coding available for maps.

I a missing a map mode for food-production/loss. I always have so much food on the shelf that i want to sell it and always have to check every empire who is currently in need of food...
that would be fine!

Will see about adding it. The best that I'll be able to do is something based on excess food, so <0 would mean starvation. Would need to test to see if it's possible to get monthly production amounts like with minerals and energy.

Some mapmodes that would be interesting IMO:

1. Average happiness of empires pops
2. Total unrest in each empire.
3. Number of colonizable planets (for inner expansion potential, perhaps only for the founding species if it doesn't work otherwise)
4. Number of hospitable planets (colonized+colonizable)
5. Number of Enclaves within the borders of the empire
6. Percentage of galaxy surveyed
7. Empire age ("Ancient" for FEs, "Old" for advanced starters, "Equivalent" for non-advanced empires that started together with the player, "Young" for empires less than a decade old and younger than the player, "[number of years]" for other empires)
8. Number of primitive civs within the borders
9. Time since last ethic shift
10. Time since last authority change
11. Time of independence (time they weren't either a subject or part of another empire)
12. Most common star type
13. Most common habitable planet type
14. Time since first contact with selected empire
15. Number of neighbors
16. Number of contacted empires
17. Number of empires rivaling this empire
18. Average opinion of other empires toward an empire
19. Number of mining stations
20. Number of spaceports
21. Number of research stations
22. Number of defense stations
23. Colonized Systems - Uncolonized Systems - Ratio
24. Number of enslaved pops/free pops
25. Number of pops being purged
26. Number of migrating pops
27. Number of pops without works
28. Number of buildings without a pop
29. Number of ruined buildings
30. Average number of planets per system

What do you think?

Some of these might be doable, others no so and others that maybe indirectly covered by other mapmodes. I'll browse around, but with the 2.0 update and its major changes, I'm kind of learly of making any big additions when potentially they might not work in the next update.

Also, interest in Stellaris is at a low for me and is low on my radar to play around with developing mods for it at the moment.
