that would be waaaay too complicated for average players, there's already a lot that don't like needing to build pipes all, so bundling it all into a single plumbing line makes it much more approachable, dont think of it as a single shared pipe, its just a group of pipes in 1 line

I've actually come to appreciate the "bus" approach. As much as I loved Redistr Heat the upper and lower pipe system was a real pain to deal with. The much simpler "connect everything to the bus" system is far more practical. I think that this is the appropriate abstraction for the way Rimword is structured as a game.
