Alright, so I've got the darts made but I'm not going to be uploading them for a bit. I found what appears to be an unused crafting table in the devkit that should work well for this mod, so I'm going to see how much work will be involved in getting it useable before deciding when I'm going to launch the darts. Sometime this week probably.

One thing of note is that I'm not going to do a 15x dart. That would require level 105 to learn, which puts it above the pre-ascension level cap. I very much dislike the idea of locking something behind ascension, partly because I want everyone to be able to access it and partly because I doubt I'll ever ascend my characters anyway. I'm a solo player, bosses and caves aren't intended for people like me. Which is bad game design but that's a rant for another day.

The thing about darts vs. arrows is that following the same formula gives some interesting results. The 15x arrow does more torpor overall than the 10x dart, but the dart does more instant torpor. Where the arrow does 35 hp damage (from a crossbow) the dart will only do 26, HOWEVER the arrow will do 1050 instant torpor and 2362.5 total torpor but the dart will do 1560 instant and 2210 total. The darts also cannot be fired underwater, as per vanilla.

I have the darts set up to be crafted from one vanilla dart and one mod-narcotic, each engram is learned 10 levels above the previous tier and costs 30 points like the vanilla dart does. Currently set to be crafted in player inventory, but depending on how quickly I can get the table working I may skip that phase entirely. Learning each engram requires learning the previous tier of dart, the appropriate narcotic AND the equivalent arrow. So to learn to make concetrated darts you have to first learn to make concentrated arrows.
