Made a barebones remake of it, Sectoid only.[www.dropbox.com]

However, it is a sectoid that can use the new expansion pack mechanics, has their own class and class locked armour, upgrades with the Pistol and Armour techs, a Covert Action to recruit playable aliens in general, and custom UI menus so pretty much all customization is locked off, and all without requiring any overrides like the old version.

I hope this helps you out.

It works without problems the sectoids are also really balanced imo

Actually kinda nice that given how the Armor works for the factions basically gave PA a precedent for giving the aliens here their own armors without things getting too bugged to hell. might actually be able to bring back the old colorable Vipers and so on because of it.

give it a bit. we've been starting to get some really interesting stuff recently due to WoTC, can't imagine this'll stay unworked on for long.

really hoping this can make a comeback, just grabbed wotc and out of all the mods that are now borked I'm gonna miss this one the most. best of luck with it?

I know you might still be having trouble... but I hope you keep working at it! I love this mod, and I feel as though the Skirmishers would be EPIC if they actually included Aliens instead of the genetically modified humans. Good luck! :)
