Well, im partially back but i could'nt retrieve this mods files yet and i dont have time to recreate this mod from scratch so it's development will be postponed or unless someone else is interested in taking it over for the time being.

This mod tries to make the cockpits canopy animated in a less intrusive way by staying a single block.

There are two ways to open close the canopy. A by default auto-open-close canopy behavior to show off right off the bat what and how and why its about and you can detick that option in the cockpits terminal and use the canopy button manually (which is essentially open-close but cant fit in the button). You can set the open-close action in any G-Menu as well, like a button to open and close the canopy from outside.

Separate actions for closing and opening of the canopies.
For example, for use on like evac pods on a timer or PB script to open all canopies in case of evacuation of large motherships and stations etc.

Just kidding, i have to give huge amounts of respect and thanks to Eikester, Digi and Phoera.
This mod or most of my mods that rely on scripts wouldn't be possible without them.

Experimental Mod
Not for regular use. Im working hard on this while not being a coder what so ever.
The highlights are still buggy, trying to fix it.
Im aware of some missing polygons on cockpits, im fixing them as well.
Those cockpits were not meant to be opened. :P
Still working on the animations etc. Just need a little more time.
Also, sounds will be added as well in upcoming updates.

A proof of concept with animated canopy. It has some obvious bugs because im not a coder and this is as far as i got to a working one. If anyone is willing to help out that knows coding and matrix, would be very appreciated.

Features to come:
*Add more variation of the fighter cockpit doors and the way they open.
*Make opened or closed cockpits save its state on server.
*Ensure stability and sync on Server/Client.

Bugs:
*The hinge checkbox wont save, gotta figure out how it works.

*Currently, if you want to change the color of the cockpit, you would have to close the cockpit first before recoloring it. Otherwise if its open and you recolor it, it will reset the model without triggering the opening sequence and thus when you go inside the cockpit, it will attempt to close it making the canopy go inside the seat. Fun bug. xD

Fixed the issue where the canopy will glitch out of bounds when grinding down and welding it up again.
