Try to look at all the R.E.D. Total War series of mods by GelodGreat, should be updated and have more addons for DLC/mods compatibilities

Open steam workshop in your browser, rather than the steam client, and copy and paste the URL into this website.

Unzip the downloaded content into the mod folder in the games install directory. (C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI (Epic)\Mods) If you don't have much experience manually installing mods, it helps to know that organization is key. When installing multiple mods, make a folder for each in case you have any issues and need to remove it later.

steamworkshop.download use a old cache AFAIK and so you may download an outdated (and incompatible with the latest civ patch) version of a mod when using it, leading to false bug report while the updated version works, so yes, that could be an issue.

steamworkshopdownloader.com seems to be the same as steamworkshopdownloader.io, should be fine.
