Unzip the downloaded content into the mod folder in the games install directory. (C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI (Epic)\Mods) If you don't have much experience manually installing mods, it helps to know that organization is key. When installing multiple mods, make a folder for each in case you have any issues and need to remove it later.

Anyways, why would someone possibly have an issue by "side-loading" the mod. Epic Epic hate?
