Idea Suggestions
Instead of commenting, post it in here for any ideas you may have.

When coming up with ideas be sure to actually know what you want.

Note: I'm more-or-less the kind of person to only really focus on something specific if told to, so if you have an idea feel free to mention it and more often than not it'll probably be expanded upon more than what was wanted. In short, activity of this mod keeps me motivated to continue working on it.

Hmm I'd kinda thought about something before you've reminded me of. Might be tricky to get every part to spawn right though and then you gotta make the AI do what you want.

Basically have 2 bases that keep spawning/cloning their soldiers and maybe fighting robots. They're on different damage teams obviously. Once they spawn a sufficient wave, they attack each other. The bases have artillery guns too that rotate like regular turrets and fire at random intervals, but the bases are shielded so that's more so a hazard for you and NPCs. Somewhere in their bases is the shield controller for their base, but they'll probably kill you before you reach it.

The in between zone would be rather dangerous, but think of the loot farming! So many drops from fighting each other. Normally they'd both be hostile to you, but maybe somehow you can take a quest that makes one side friendly to you, and you can attempt to take down the other side(disable their generators, spawners, etc).

This would probably be much more than dungeon making. Totally new biome. Now I'm obviously aware how something of this nature would be a ton of work to pull off and I might still be under-estimating it. So I haven't started such a project myself. Possibly much later.
what about in the astrode belt you can in conter uamc ship/ships gathering materals and mabey a space stashon

You could probably try and add an augment thing for weapons, and the customizations be augments that can only be added to just the weapon the customization belongs to, just as an idea...
how about custom boss battles? like maybe you can make an actual USCM rebel supersoldier to replace asra nox
Idea 1: Planet type: USCM Dreadnaght-class ship in three variants, Reble heald, USCM heald, Deralect (Ercus Mutant/ Monster infested) Naturaly, mankind would build city sized warships, and whoever controls them would have a HUGH advantage in both fire-power and the fact one can make it their HQ. Good luck to the poor basterd who has to track down Reble High Command Dreadnaught "Hammer of Sol", biggest dreadnaught ever built... (A true climactic final mission setting)

Idea 2: The mech, try working with the XS mechs and ZZ mech mods guys. qualitiy work those two. and ZZ cracked the nut that is Power Armor/Exo-suits (or so i've read...), opening up more possabilies. as for a loadout on the thing, 40mm auto-cannon (main) and a Hell-Fire missle pod (Secondary), and chassie could look similar to, say, Halo's Matis battle mech.

Eh, Augments are listed as .augment files, which any armour piece which has an augment slot can integrate. Weapon Augments, not possible. Augments, possible.

Idea 1 is very much what I plan to do in the future for spaceships, however it would have to act like an "Ancient Gateway" kind of thing and adding planets is a bit harder, but possible.

Idea 2, I have a Mech already which is based off the original SB Human Mech, but with 4 .50 cals (AKA an Anti-Air vehicle). Right now just finalising Mission 5 which the whole point is to use the mech (AKA Vehicle Segment).

As for working with XS Mechs and ZZ Mechs, Not sure about that, I lack any "showcasing" knowledge and barely have any knowledge of LUA. I have a fear of rejection from somebody much more knowledgeable in modding than I am so I'm not willing to directly talk to them. Also because I don't want to make this mod rely on other mods.

You can ask them however, if you really want to.

how about making the job offers mod compatable with this? so we can hire troopers a different way?

I find the job offers mod op. So sadly I won't be making it "Compatible" in the sense of making the mod npc's instantly recruitable, but the next update involves an area where you can hire troopers for 40 dogtags without doing fetch quests.

On your question on the forums about any potential Metal Slug mod, maybe. Maybe I'll make a Slugbound thingamabob in the near future.
It would be cool if you could add a boss misson (a big rebel mech would be AWESOME) maybe dropping a good rifle or rocket launcher. Hope you can see this through. Bosses are hard to make though, so I would understand if you cant
