General Feedback
I'm a big fan of the style, I also greatly appreciate how this map is being made by a dev outside of the umbrella of Treyarch as a whole, and it really shows in the quality. I could sit here praising all day, but naturally I think the thing to talk about is real issues. I've played the map several times and I personally have only found one legitimate problem in the coding. When you're standing across the stream from pack a punch in the area near the VMP, if you stand reasonably close to a corridor directly opposite the VMP then the zombies will ONLY spawn within that corridor and it becomes the most broken camping spot ever. Beyond this there is obviously the issue with pack a punch and the invicibility glitch.

On a note of general concern and analysis I'd say the map is very well balanced in terms of the difficulty scale vs. layout of the map. It's no more difficult to figure out than your traditional studio zombie maps in terms of finding your way around the map. Many people take great issue with the river, and I agree to a point that perhaps boardwalks or small bridges could be useful. But at the same time it adds another hazard that is legitimately dangerous if you aren't aware and careful.(When I picked up the axe for the first time I was immediately struck with the idea to cut down a tree to make a bridge! I failed...)

I don't know if the part 1 of 4 bit is meant to intend 1 of 4 major updates to this map, or the first map in a series of four. Either way, this map shows great promise from a consumer perspective and while definitely needing a bit of ironing out, Is very fun in a unique way.

Lastly I'd like to address the other people posting here, please stop being overly critical of the map from a tone/feel perspective. The creator obviously has a vision and especially if the map is a WIP then it's simply ridiculous to criticize how the map feels when it's practically half baked. Furthermore, your idea for what the map ought to be may be radically different to what the creator wants to bring to the table. Try to appreciate the map for what it is rather than what you think it could be. When you make a map like this, any mistake will be corrected by a dedicated creator. But when something doesn't change, you need to recognize it isn't an accident and was fully intentional. These discrepancies from the established formula are what will help this game to evolve in a way that will appeal to some people and not others. The argument that 'It's different, therefore it's RUINED' is just ridiculous. The map is very good at doing what it was designed to do and asking the creator to have the map perform in a way it was not intended is preposterous and unfair.

Feel free to roast me as you please, but I felt I needed to add that last paragraph because calling out the map creator on his vision the way I've seen several users doing is terribly ungrateful to the fact that he has taken time out of his own job, where he could be making zombies FOR MONEY to make something purely because he likes doing it and wanted to bring us new content.

If you liked the map then play it and enjoy it, and offer some positive feedback so the creator knows their efforts aren't going to an ungrateful crowd. if you don't like the map then don't do that.

But regardless of how you feel, Please show the creator the respect they deserve.
