I have no idea what these people are complaining about I think the way you implemented the new designs for wall weapons and perks was really cool, don't get me wrong i was super confused for like 2 minutes but then decided to use my brain and realized that i should be standing and not prone when i try to buy the weapons and it was super easy and straight foreword. Exploring the map gave me the feeling that I had when I first played origins and it was super gratifying. the pack-a-punch was also a fun little quest which took me forever to find the top piece but it was in front of me the entire play through... the water is perfectly balanced splitting the map up into sections with an island in the middle and Easter egg was actually really fun to run through, I did it by myself and I feel like the flashlights would've played a bigger role in a group setting. There was only two problems that were super minor and easy to get around, the first one was that outside the brm tent "up" river (btw nice touch with the water flowing in the opposite direction), the zombies spawned outside of the weeds and just stood there and didn't run through them, it was only a small pack of 4-5 so no big deal they were easily taken out. and also there was a weird box colider thing going on with the power core. it was bigger than the model and i got snagged on it a few times but learned to ignore it. Lastly the crows, they were a nice touch and actually really balancing I think a perk limit is very important and adding a way to break it ever so slightly is a fun concept. that being said im not sure if the crows had an ambient noise (sort of like a hot cold system) where the player can follow the noise. if you wanted to add that it would be pretty cool but without it the gameplay is still really fun and enjoyable thank you for making a map feel like an adventure survival game.
