New Zombies
Post your ideas here following these "rules":
-Zombies with guns aren't allowed.
-Zombies riding a vehicle or other stuff aren't allowed.
-Zombies with magic spells aren't allowed.
-Try to describe the zombie the best as possible.
-Optional: You could link a photo or link for more information about the zombie, but please, don't do screenshot with ragdolls.

A musicbox zombie, It plays the plants vs zombies music box music, it acts like a normal fast zombie with a small crate in its right hand and after the music box music ends at about 57 seconds the zombie explodes

Commander Zombie : It's like the soldier zombie, but it throws melons faster. It does more melee damage, runs (attacks) faster, and has much more health. As it is not a normal soldier zombie, it should have another special to deal with people that are not in melee or melon range. If this is not really good, then maybe a zombie that looks like soldier zombie, but instead of being bonemerged to a normal zombie, bonemerge it to a fastie.

General base ideas:

(1) Lightning Zombie
  • Launches lightning orbs when it attacks.
  • Electrified; inflicts contact damage.
  • Utilizes normal Zombie model.

(2) Skewer Zombie
  • Launches harpoons.
  • Utilizes Poison Zombie model.

(3) Guerilla Zombie
  • Wields an assault rifle.
  • Melees enemies when in close range.

(4) Slender/Sneaky Zombie
  • Behaves similarly to Slender Man, but can be killed.

(5) Wizard Zombie
  • Can cast buff/debuff/attack/defensive spells.

(6) Cardboard Zombie
  • Flattened profile.

(7) Sawblade Zombie
  • Launches sawblades from afar.
  • Melees with sawblade when in close proximity.

(8) Warp Zombie
  • Teleports several feet away every time it is damaged.

(9) Medic Zombie
  • Works on the sidelines; heals zombies with medkits.

(10) Pallet Transporter Zombie
  • Bulkier than the vehicle zombie, but slightly slower.
  • Can push away props.

(11) Shockwave Zombie
  • Launches shockwaves whenever it pounces/jumps/attacks (?).
  • Shockwaves can be dodged by jumping over them.

(12) Boat Zombie
  • Zombie that drives a boat.

(13) Mini Zombie
  • Standalone minature zombie.
  • Higher pitched voice.

(14) Radioactive Zombie
  • A zombie that's contaminated with polonium.
  • Standing near it causes damage.

(15) Artillery Zombie
  • A zombie that's operates a stationary machine gun.

(16) Sniper Zombie
  • A zombie that snipes enemies with oranges.

(17) Spectre Zombie
  • A zombie that can levitate and walk through solid mass.
  • Ghostly and transparent in appearance.

(17) Mitotic Zombie
  • A zombie that splits into two smaller versions when it's killed.
  • 'Daughter zombies' can also divide once more when they die.
  • Can undergo 3 mitotic cycles, with each incarnation exhibiting a smaller size and higher pitched voice.

(18) Dodgeball Zombie
  • A zombie that throws dodgeballs.
  • Dodgeballs generate knockback + damage.
  • High health and can strafe, but can be killed instantly if dodgeballs are thrown back at it.

Like I said in another comment, I will make in game events (through a scripted entity), and potions will be one of them.

About portals, I will do my own textures, still trying to fit to the game's art style.

Portals will have icons of different type of zombies (music, videogames, animals etc), and it will spawn a zombie near it every... 7 seconds?

And they will dissapear after time.

I don't want zombies to carry weapons.
soldier zombies
- uses a smg
- can use radio to get other soldier zombies

police zombie
- uses a pistol
- can use radio to get other police zombies

riot/swat zombie
- uses baton and riot shield
- full body armor
- another radio


BOSS ZOMBIES
these will be hard (like bosses should be)

apc zombies
- explosives are the only thing that will hurt it
- can use apc gun
- mokes slowly

helicopter zombie
just make it a reskin of the combine attack helicopter and make it weaker

teleport zombies
- can teleport
- hurts more


also i know you dont want zombies to carry weapons but zombie seem to easy and weapons will make it harder

For the sake of reference/organization, could you update your first post to include what you want and do not want to see as far as ideas are concerned?

Maybe a zombie like the Smoker From Left For Dead. I know there is already the hook zombie, but he is too easy to kill and avoid.

some sort of sliding zombie that slides along the ground gaining speed until it hits a wall/your knee
