I like the larger maps because I like to see how big everyone can get in the game. I find myself getting penned in by city states and the other civs almost every single game. But when the map is fully open to me I see so much uninhabited land it just blows my mind. If i lower the amount of civs from thee base 14 it gives to like.. 8 or 9 it's not so bad but i play the larger maps to play against more civs
