What to check if it's not working.
Hey, since a few people have trouble getting the mod to work here are some steps to try:

1. Make sure you load both the Text HUD API and HudLcd mod into your world.
2. Tag the LCD you want to display with "hudlcd" in either title or custom data.
2.5 If you are using the title it is possible that you have to update the title manually after loading in to make it work. This is apparently a bug with SE that the title looks empty to the mod until you change it manually.
3. Write some text onto the LCD Panel.
4. Sit in a cockpit that is on the same grid, so no connectors or landing gear!

If you still can't see anything then:
5. Try in a world with only the two mods from point 1

Still having issues, loaded just the text api and this mod after removing all mods so it would download them again and can not get anything to show up

removed all the mods so steam redownloaded them and just had both your mod and text hud mods in then tried a test on a lcd, switched views from first to third and then ran threw all the hud settings with tab to see if it was just a setting i missed

I loaded into your save and it worked immediately for me, tbh I'm not sure how to help you in this case :(

ok so that gives me a direction to look now will verrifiy the game files and then if nothing else reinstall SE it has to be on my end somewhere, thank you again for looking into it

I am getting this error crash we had to remove the mod, which we really like :(

I had the same problem. The crash occours when you grind a LCD attached to the actual grid. The LCD was not tagged. If you grind down the block the LCD is attached to and grind it as floating object everything is fine. And sorry for my bad english...

Is the bug still happening to you?

i cant Use it on my world too; i tryed it on a other world it all was good but in this world it doesnt work i have both mods set to 1 and 2 in mod order but it wont let me see anything

Hey. I just unpacked the present and it is beautiful. Thanks again. But it works only with the tag in Custom Data for me, not in name. I disabled all mods, still the same.
