still no luck
I tried the map again two more times. The second time, I reinforced the gold tiles in front of the brimstone, and left a square immediitly below, with paths going around. Still no luck. The bombards and blades get immediately destoryed, then I lose the Behemeth in the attack, and cannot build enough defenses to get rid of the incoming horde. I cannot research the Underminer in time to get to the Artifacts you mentioned, even with a six station Archive. And since you removed the Replacement Earth, I don't know whether it would be more effective- since I could put a reinforced regular wall between the reinforced gold and the sand. Not sure what else to try. The only thing I might mention is that do the AIs need the backup of all the Gold and Lava Weavers? I know they are cool...but...it might also be interesting if they were allied with the player at the start, or at least the Lava ones, so the AIs don't so quickly get the Gold Weavers so quickly. Let me know what you think, and might do, and I'll certainly give it another try.

The best thing I can think about is to add the replacement wall to the list. Those weavers are there to provide AI with some extra units in case they don't expand properly. I could slightly reduce thier amount, though I believe the problem here is AI getting a bit too early on player's territory. Unfortunately, I'm not really sure if there's a way ( maybe make a neutral fortified wall as an extra layer of defence here ). I'm quite concered that delaying AI too much may result into it breaking out completely.

What about giving the player a couple spirit workers, like you mentioned previously. I did not have them the last time I tried playing.
