Boats might possibly be a multi-space unit. This is a good idea in concept, however; it would be hard not to negate the orginal buildings use. I'll see what I can do ;)
Slow-moving artillery?
APCs with less speed and capacity, but more health and attack?
Aircraft from an airbase that will need refueling every other turn?
Hmmm... We have another vehicle in the works, but it is a lot more (Situational?). I hoped skill trees would help to fill this void. Perhaps I should make some kind of GENERAL factory. Keep a bag of units it can produce. So this way you don't need a new building for each new kind of troop.
Name all of the pieces so when you hover over them you can read what it isa
For the autobody shop or tank factory, in the description do the same thing as with the bags
(Example: On the barrracks figure in the description, Troop: 10)
And move the bags description into their name so you dont have to hover over and wait, it would just apear.
Another thing actually for the name, you could put in the description of the piece, what it does or it's stats.
Example:

Well maybe then just add the description with the name in front that way it only apears if you hover over for a bit. That way you don't have to go to the rulebook if you forget.
The name thing on the bags would be fine. However, perhaps not on the troop/building itself. It would be quite annoying to try to rotate the view because the name is blocking your view. Thanks for the idea.
I've dabbled with oil fields. The new oil well nerf does basically that.
