Murderer's Machete
My idea for the Murderer's Machete
Quite simple, somewhat like the Scout version of the Half Zatoichi. as well as a HP increase of 15.

Pros:
Base HP is increase by 15.
On kill with this 40 HP is given, and it is a mechanic similar to the Powerjack.
10 to 15 % increase in damage
Has a taunt kill that also activates the HP gain

Cons:
Slasher's Bloodlust: Cannot sheathe unless coated in blood of your victims.
Slower attack speed. Which is why it deals more damage.

Good idea, bad idea?

The 15 HP increase was fine already with the Pocket Pistol, until they removed it. Plus, Scout melee is primarily used as a last resort or just for cosmetic. The Scout is already as fine as it is with the Scattergun and a good Secondary (Mad Milk or Pistol). However giving the Scout a melee with distinct stats, and distinct look, clearly shows the intentional use of it. I could understand if you wanted to have a new melee for new variety (which is what Soldier needs). But indefinite stats can take the whole point of a class away. In my opinion, it should just be different bleeding effects or a Flying Guillotine reskin.

I want weapon variety for the scout in teh primary secondary and melee slots for the Scout. I made stats for a different item(the Bloodletter) for bleed effects, as well as propositioned a rework of the Three Rune Blade into something of its own(in SPUF). There are also Cleaver like type weapons in teh workshop for the Scout, I made some suggestions for them. And this is my idea for this Machete. Some current melees(rift items) and the Winger, PBPP and the Backscatter need tweaks. I suggested some ideas in SPUF for them.

Your idea of the weapon stat is good, drivan. But I think there's should be a another con. It should be, "Everytime you kill, people will hear the tune of you killing the victim." The area of the tune should be around 1 heavy long.

I prefer that idea more than the boston basher. for one we already have a reskin forr the boston basher we dont need another. I NEED THIS!

thank you for the compliments. And yes, Boston Basher needs a bit of an improvement.

Now that I think of it though, what about a stats Eyelander focused on HP and it has bleed effects for the Murderer's Machete?

I have a feeling that it should come in two styles, much like the Flying Guillotine: Bloody / Not Bloody. I think it should work much like the Eyelander, but for the Scout. [-25 max HP on wearer, kills count towards Head Count, more heads=more dmg + more HP (The Scout is already fast enough, so i didnt include the speed-on kill gig that the Eyelander has.)]

The stats could be:

Killing players grants a speed boost for 3 or 5 seconds
+15% max health
50% more fire damage received
Immune to afterburn
