Honestly, I think this an xbox/ms issue not a steam issue. Finally bought a One S (1708) controller so I didn't have to drag a 20' cord across the room (I prefer xbox for shooters, PS for
seconds later, same flash. Plugged in PS3 and suddenly it showed paired, and the player # light came on on the PS3 controller... But no input response via wireless ... This is really bizarre.

I guess now

bluetooth and micro usb cable (works)
3. xbox controller connected to pc via 8bitdo adapter (works, although steam shows 2 controllers and xbox 360 and an xbox one. Getting weird double input issues likely

Steam definitely detects the controller, but the controller

The issue really comes from samsung tv's lack of support for any sort of input methods. As I mentioned previously, I also see the same behavior on as bluetooth controler and ps4 controller. as far as
I understand, this is not a steam link issue but a samsung tv issue. As far as keyboard/mouse usage, it apears that samsung tvs are not designed to recieve input signals from 2 sperate usb ports

using it for the latter. Using desktop streaming to just grab your normal browser should resolve the fullscreen issue.

The design intent of the BIg Picture Mode browser is to quickly look up information in game while using a controller, not extended regular browsing sessions. It kind of falls flat in a few ways

I've had issues with the PS2 controller via steam link, but it works completly fine locally on the PC with the latest steam beta.

The latest steamlink firmware beta build i used was version578 and
when they are on.

all the other buttons and inputs work as you might expect them to.

not seem to be creating new controllers. That issue seemed to be specifically with steam on the PC.

In other news, when I use my Steamlink, it randomly changes out of the game back to the game page in
alt+tab, without being an alt+tab. This happens even when sitting idle (so zero inputs).

This weekend I'll verify the OneS controller firmware is up to date. I'm not sure if Steam will actually push

, however the other two lines can have massive spikes. The spikes can coincide with things like moving between pages on the steam interface or sometimes when using the steam controller as an input device
I'm still getting the same lagging no matter what. When I look at the graphs the dark blue line remains pretty flat and consistent so I presume there isn't much issue with the computers performance
