Issue: Chat does not work
hello

Let's hope you will be able to give a viable solution for all steam release and all case ( bigpicture mode , large and mini )
But the change has not been made locally but in the backend side as many of us allready used a steam.cfg ,trough js file. https://steamhost.cn/community_cloudflare_steamstatic_com/public/javascript/webui/friends.js?v=Oy7EJLTwcDt8 is not the same as the one we are using locally and so no clue which one has been passed trought the websocket loopback (https://steamloopback.host/friends.js ).
as exemple, the friends.js used.

Noted also that bigpicture mode does not use local friends.js
SP Shared JS Context-'SharedJSCo': ERROR: https://steamloopback.host/library.js:2: TypeError: Cannot read property 'GetLocalAvatarBase64' of undefined
normal it does not even exist in friendsui.dll as we only get WebChat.GetLocalAvatarBase64 inside the dll and not GetLocalAvatarBase64
When going on bigpicture using -nofriendsui , just noticed that ( weird may be truncated on log ,..)
Seems the loopback websocked is been used for bigpicture mode

Nontheless i think most js files on hdd are more for some offiline purpose more or less,
The steam;//connect/friends does not work anymore as exemple and same for group chat because they changed something on backend (js file )side and surelly did not expected this kind of drawback even with the last beta.

i surelly can test the beta using my sandbox but i am too lazy to do a backup of it and redo some test with it and it will be useless imo
Anyway my journey into this wasn't uninterresting as i discovered that even without changing anything locally but just updating the js file of the cdn that has been exchanged with the current client, valve can change the way the client was working : they don't need to change "infrastructures" to do that, and now i am more anxious by the following ....
