FOXHOUND is an elite special forces group established in 1971 by Big Boss , the "Legendary Soldier." Specializing in high-risk covert operations, FOXHOUND became renowned for its expertise in tactical espionage and handling missions that conventional forces couldn't undertake. Over the years, the unit has been led by various commanders, including Big Boss and Roy Campbell, and has been involved in numerous critical events within the Metal Gear universe.
