Regarding the college incident, can't you or your parents like bring it to the university board or higher authority? My parents would never let such violation slip since they paid for it. Wasted semester is a waste of money. Moreover when they deliberately made you fail.

I still got credit for the courses I did take as the grades came back after I left, and the uni says their choice is final, but it's still a steaming pile of horse shite.

In other news, I'm living at home for the time being, I miss running competitively but I’m saving up to get my own place soon. I'm getting a job as a skydiving instructor soon to support myself; I'm not joking, I'm actually training to get my FFA license. Might return to college in a year or so, but school was never really my strong suit and to be honest college is probably the worst thing that has ever happened to my mental health. I've been sad before, we all have, but being in that drom was downright depressing and I've never really felt that way until then. Don't know if I want to face that storm again, only time will tell.

Hey, I didn't die just retreated back to 4Chan and sorta forgot about HFGL. I actually did mostly finish retelling that story of me and mod, have it all in a Google Doc that I forgot to actually upload when I finished the next part because I'm lazy and have the memory of a pet rock. Phreya responded to a post I made and it revitalized a core memory, so I'm back now. Expect to see me around more often, or at the very least just know that I'm lurking here again. College has been a fucking disaster so far and I have an abundance of things I can't wait to share with you idiots, but in the meantime, I'll see you retards soon.

I think one of the games that actually does something good with that whole formula is Rainbow Six Siege. Unlike most shooters like it, you don't respawn when you are killed, and not only that, but each person gets a unique ability to form a different strategy. Couple this with the game's locations, which are usually more like closed spaces with walls that can be destroyed easily if not reinforced, and not only do you have to consider being a good shot, you also have to do a good strategy. You can't just sit in cover the whole time, since there are characters that can stun and rush on you, smash the floor and hit you from a different level, or just hit you with an explosive or incendiary attack. Plus, there's also different objectives, which means not killing every enemy is a viable option to win a match. The last enemy is hiding behind cover? Simple fix, take their hostage and run away. I'm not really getting into specifics or even most of the basics, but for anyone that's interested, please check it out.

I have a love hate relationship with taticool shooters. On one had, yeah you got to use 200% of your brain and have asain levels of aim to kill a bronze player, but on the otherhand you have to memorize every single map better than your own gaming setup and log 2000 hours just to seem decent. Then, if your really into having fun, you can lob the exact same grenades at the exact same angles to force the exact same choke on the exact same peak with the exact same weapon in the exact same senerio you've done a thousand times before. All of that outstanding gameplay for a half dozen seconds of action and 99% crouch walking every single round for half an hour only to be teamkilled for not buying the russian kid an AWP because you didn't use a calculator to get perfect round econ.

Fuck that bullshit. Sweaty doesn't even begin to describe it, I'd rather actually enjoy playing my video games with the fun parts of realisim but not having to memorize the location of several hundred corners. After a long day, I'm getting home and I'm playing CoD or Battlefield, not CS:GO
