I made sure to check my purchase history for these to see if I maybe mistakingly purchased the soundtrack instead of the games, and sure enough, it shows I purchased the games for gift purposes.

When a game is removed from the store and you have a gift for a pack that includes multiple app ids (but only one that still has a store page), the gifts can revert to take the name and appearance of the last remaining app in the pack with an existing store page. All gifts of Woodle Tree include the soundtrack, so it took on that appearance, but the game itself is still there.

You see it a lot when games get removed from the store because they're getting replaced by a new version, but existing owners get the new one for free. The old store page gets removed and the gift changes to a copy of the new one (in appearance only). You can look at my copies of ICY in my inventory for an example of that.

Only the total seen on Tracker will be considered when it comes to joining, we can't verify ownership through other sites that use other ways to detect this information, some of which use extensions or userscripts to detect additional games, some that go by game time or unlocked achievements, etc. We can't be sure of what's owned, shared, refunded, etc. that way, so we have to use something that only checks for publicly visible owned licenses specifically.

It is part of the main page, the timekillerz website links on the group homepage were all replaced by steam-tracker links, and information about how to check your removed game count were written out in steps in the previous group announcement.

As for what it means to play the game, nobody knows for sure until some people get certain things while other people don't, so the safest bet would be to launch the game and play it online to be sure, I doubt something like idle master will count since the content discussed was being added to accounts (the legacy status items), not as dlc (if I'm understanding it correctly), which means it's directly granted by the developers, not steam. I personally got an achievement for just launching the game, so if that bothers you, then you shouldn't launch it, or just start working on the game now, pretty sure the game isn't too difficult achievement wise.
