Regarding Starforge DRM FREE version
I saw this post:

So I wonder: is the DRM Free version safe to be downloaded and installed? Considering all the shady practices by the developers, I fear it may have some sort of malware. (If it's safe, I'd like to check it and see how it compares to what was originally proposed by the devs)

... your best bet is probably to download and scan it yourself.

I don't see why anyone would download and play that crap, even for comparison sake.
It's basically the No Man Sky failure before No Man Sky was a thing.

I am pretty sure that you have better games to play in your 5000 game Steam library than bothering yourself with Starforge. Especially that you think it that a file provided by scammer may be a malware.

Lol If I was 100% sure the file was clear, I"d like to take 15-20 minutes to check it. Blame it on curiosity :P

But Starforge will never gonna get fully released and finished so why bother playing with demo?
