The sneaky way NFT games are getting on steam by bypassing the no nft games on steam
Because NFT games are not allowed on steam, developers of them are using bypass tricks to put them on here. Here are the basic methods:

#1. They put it on a page saying "COMING SOON" to advertise it. If you look at the linked video below, the person even find one that tells you to go their website to download the actual game. This way they have a place on steam to advertise the NFT game. These games may never be on steam and only use the store page as a way of advertising the game on their private websites.

#2. They release a watered down version of the game. Basically, the game is done, but they cut out many things of it. For example, pay to play to give advantage to people who buy the NFT characters. They do this by having the players go to the game's website to buy the NFT's to use them. Putting the link in the game to the official website is another bypass that developers use to bypass not having NFT games on steam.

#3. They have the game in early development, but will technically never come out fully, at least on steam. Again, it is a method of advertising the game on steam, technically even if they are not a actual NFT game. Again, they link to their game official website, so it is again technically not on steam. Many of the games off steam are full games you can play, but either on the epic game store or on their private websites.

Here, please look at this video. This person went into very good depth on some of the NFT bypass games on steam. They are really good at explaining them, much better than me.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vMsCHgY7uxg

The video says there are 68 possible NFT games currently on steam, and i imagine that number will rise too.

Scammers are going to keep finding new was to swindle money out of gamers... from fake reviews, to Steam Marketplace spam items (banana), and now we're getting NFTs.

Thanks for the heads up, this is important to raise awareness about.

I follow this curator who lists quite a few titles that fit in the categories you've identified:

Yea, that is the same one the person in the linked video also suggests that same group. The person who did that video must of done some research as they have some good info about these methods. I just tried to explain and i even found that hard to do. But i understand these methods. I even looked at some of these games myself.

Oh yes I just saw that. Replied to you before I had watched the video!

Yea, i hope i explained these methods in my own way. Sometimes i have trouble writing due to social anxiety. But i tried my best.
You did great. Your post explains the situation very well.

Generate income while trading and evolving your NFT game assets, take possession of your plot of land in the Striker Manager 3 world and become the real owner of your club.
That's why we're here... Valve's official statement is that NFT games aren't allowed, so what NFT game developers do is "hide" the NFTs away from the Steam Store page and push gamers to go to the developers website to exchange NFTs on the blockchain.

This skirts around Valve's ban because at face value, the game doesn't appear to have NFTs that can be purchased or exchanged by Steam gamers through Steam.

If you take a look at both of those games you linked, nowhere in the store page does it mention NFTs, and if you download and run the client through Steam, you won't have access to any NFTs... but they will push you to a website where you can get them.

Watch the video in the OP, it's informative.
geee...if only there were a way that Valve could avoid this *cough* have an actual human with a functional brain check what gets dumped on the store *cough* :steamfacepalm:
Here is another video by the guy i posted above video. Again, a nice deep dive into the NFT games on steam:
