I have an article penned and in the editing room over on TechRaptor about this issue including an interview with the developer. I'll post a link here and will link it in the curation that will be up on both games.
The article went live today.

I reach out to other sources at Valve with regards to other instances that aren't getting TechRaptor coverage, and of course if I am definitely sure instances are in violation of Steam conduct, throught the alternative methods I have at my disposal. I never enter into e-mails with the intent of getting developers banned, they're simply for Valve knowledge as I know they typically 90% of the time at least acknowledge the issue which is typically enough for me in all honesty.
