Text spammer template uncovered
https://steamhost.cn/search/?category1=998&publisher=Hosted%20Games

Found over 18 games using same template dev is even too lazy to put backgrounds or pictures in them and multiple versions are being made that could have been download content.

These aren't even games.

Sigh... MixaMan is at it again.
No, it's not a spammer, and no, Steam is not just for games. Steam sells videos, visual novels, text adventures and even software.

*pinches nose*
These are called text adventures. PC games used to be almost exclusively in this format for nearly half a decade and they absolutely dominated the scene in the second half of the 70s.
The format got a relatively large revival about 3-4 years ago, when they also started to port some of the more famous choose-your-adventure books into video game format.

What you see is a bunch of games made in the Quest game engine, an open-source free engine designed so aspiring writers can design and compile their own choose-your-adventure textbook. I am not a fan of the white background either, but these are supposedly a lot better to play on a mobile device this way than a standard visual novel.

Hi Mixaman

Your posts in the group have had complaints levelled to us. Your posts are being created in a way of what appears to be attempting to start witch hunts and making heavy accusations against others with no proof being provided either, and these posts are being created by you on a daily basis, and we have already told you in previous discussions about the differentiations of clones and developers making games within the same genre, but yet despite this being pointed out to you by myself, moderators and other members, you're continuing to create these kinds of posts, that include a lack of research done on your end. For these reasons, me and the moderators have decided to lock your discussions as we rely heavily on facts being presented and logical reasoning being applied to all cases presented.
