Also, looks like Pera Games also goes by Gathering Tree.
Same dev team members are listed on the Overfall Kickstarter page that are listed on the website for their newer game TFM: The First Men[playthefirstmen.com] with a release date of later this year. Both devs are also listed on the Overfall Soundtrack.
Devs addressed this too in an update: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/402310/discussions/0/3068614788762142906/
Developer linked google docs what does not guarantee you get your game back. Think it as survey. It just makes situation worse for developer, they cannot verify who bought the game or not.
Let Fanatical deal with this issue.
New update
That's the most absurd thing that they did: they asked the people that they screwed over to hand personal informations (e-mail, steamkey used for Overfall + information about where it was purchased) AND THEN THE DEVELOPERS SIMPLY RAN AWAY WITH SAID INFORMATIONS and just told the people that had given them said private informations to seek a new key from Fanatical.
Meanwhile I was one of the naives that gave those developers my e-mail along with the other informations and today I have received 125 advertisements e-mails (all on my autotrash/spam e-mail folder, thankfully).
Can I provide proof that the developers sold my private information? No, I can't. I don't know for what purposes they will use my private infromations given and I have no way of controlling their actions; all that I know is that I was promised a key back if I did so and they gave me 0 keys back.
Am I pissed because I used to receive at most 10 spam e-mails per week and today I've received 125 spam e-mails in a day? Absolutely.
Like 6 months between the generation of keys and their revocation.
I'm bored to have 1/2/3 years old activated games revoked.
I just checked and got mine! From fanatical.com > My Account > Order History & Keys - do a search for Overfall. There is a new key that can be revealed and redeemed.
