I don't know much about this game or Pokemon but are you sure about those are Pokemon sprites?

didn't play this game but have played pokemon, they're talking about the female protagonist of the pokemon game: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Hilda_(game). but the clothing is a bit different than hilda's but there is a similarity between the two. also in that pic, there's a sprite that looks a bit like jasmine (another character in the series) but can't find a screenshot of her pixel in-game so not sure if that's a complete steal or just a super similar pixel art.

With help some from of the other Sentinels, the character portrait in the top left corner of the first screenshot was positively identified as Nate from Black 2/White 2. Furthermore, in the other screenshots where party slots for the monsters are shown, the empty slots are very clearly uncentered Poke Balls.

ooooh that's from black and white 2? lmfao i didn't play that one, just really looked like hilda to me XD but yeah that DEF looks like the same character.

Ah, the best I can do since I don't have the game anymore, so I apologize for bad pictures but does look like they stole the pixel art for Jasmine (at least for sure the head):

Some more info from Hardly, another Sentinel over on our Discord.

Apparently, they visited the Community Tab for the game and saw that in the background image for said tab, there was a character from the Kancolle series prominently displayed there, one Shimakaze. I've no familiarity with the Kancolle series so it'd never have stood out for me but this is more copyright infringement on top of the Pokemon related stuff.

Noticed that they have an existing character (Shimakaze from Kantai Collection) on their community hub's background.
