if I remember correctly, Nuclear Throne didnt even change its engine and always was game maker game. While projects of Rootify are unity-based

At the moment of writing, they have 3 early access titles in steam. All being Nuclear Throne unity clones with only difference in setting (may be wrong, but thats how it feels on 1st look).
Gun Brothers received last content update 11 months ago[steamdb.info] (also from steamdb logs you may find, that this studio previously was called "GameDevCom"). Massive - 10 months ago[steamdb.info]. Undead Souls - 7 months ago[steamdb.info]. Needless to say, that they all fall into abandonware category, period.
There ends all confirmed information. Now for things, that need to clear out:
Some person on steamforum recently reported, that after all these cashgrabs Rootify changed their name to FreeMinds and already have new early access title, called FukTopia. Its not Nuclear Throne clone this time. But quick look on screenshots gave me strong feeling, that I've seen these sprites somewere already. https://steamhost.cn/app/361300/Mother_Russia_Bleeds/. Maybe Im wrong and they just hired same artist or use similar art style. Maybe they arent even Rootify, since there are internets and without proofs anybody can say anything. But its all looked a bit shady for me to notify. Maybe Im just paranoid?

Coz the one about nazis looks like asset flip (well, I've seen dozen of such games recently. Maybe Im wrong there - dunno, need someone with experience in searching for unity assets, lol)
