I don't personally see anything wrong with BMC returning to their forums to tell their fans that they are now selling products elsewhere. The review botting however is an interesting point about them I haven't seen brought up.

Granted, since they aren't on Steam anymore, so meh, not exactly much can be done about it.

I definitely think there is a case to be made here on showcasing flaws with Steam's default regional pricing and showing it may need refining.

I'll make a note of it and see what could be done on my end. It's definitely not the first time regional pricing has come into criticism, as Ratchet pointed out, it was pretty prevalent before AUD became a currency for common use on Steam for Australian users, and I think it's a very similar case here but seems the problem is rooted less so on the individual developers (granted, they can still alter this, but as others pointed out, they may not be aware and may think Steam's recommended pricing is reliable) and more on Valve/Steam.

While Lovely Warriors of Friendship isn't a banned app, Valve did deny the game before release due to severe copyright infringement, so this doesn't make the practice any better.

I've made a Twitter chain tagging a couple Valve employees seeing if action can be done on this, and I will potentially make a post tomorrow (of course citing you for your discovery) talking about game swaps again, since they seem to still be ongoing.

I have seen PlayWay come up quite a few times. There's definitely something off about them that I haven't been able to pinpoint.

There was a time they consistently crammed up the upcoming releases and in some cases never released the games they listed.

It looks as though the dev is going to try to complete the game but I think letting a "full release" revert to an Early Access is setting a dangerous precedent. I can see unscrupulous devs abusing this.

Yeah i have this same line of thought. But up to the admins, i just reported the fact.

We're for the topic continuing to be discussed here, it's not like if we don't agree with something it'll just get removed or shut down.

I think it's great to keep talking about this kind of practice as it is a very unique case! :)

I can definitely sympathise with the idea of buying into something originally promoted to be finished only to then be put into an early access state, effectively buying into something that was believed to be finished only for this to happen.

However, I have read the developer response on that forum post and they do seem pretty forthcoming about the decision and willing to improve the game, so that it can be better in the long run.

Eviction Notice never said if this was true, hes just providing information and is saying "the developer stated he was given permission." He doesn't pass judgement on if this is true or not. He's just providing information and backing up claims, which you still have yet to update in your original post.

What EN did is not stalking. If you think that's stalking then a lot of the posts here would fall into that territory, but they're not. They have posted evidence while you still have posted nothing besides a link to the store page and also going to the developer's profile and treating this group like a weapon against him, which I dont particularly appreciate.

Again, please update your post with your proof for your claims.
