But it is not a bodygroup.
It is a part of the main model and can't be disabled because its an useable lever.

I noticed the same issue and I consulted the developer of Simfphys and found out the following:

It is because of the collision group of the wheels that they do not collide with my ferry. None of us made a mistake there, it can only be described as pretty unfortunate.

I will possibly rework the ferry in the distant future, which could solve this problem. I cannot say when, though.

How exactly this error occur?
Please explain it step by step if you can. A video would be very helpful.

To your question "what is happening?" I can only guess this:
Something went wrong by using the Western Locos couplers while a gmod camera was active. But I tested that and got no error on my side.

Therefore I need more and precise infos to help here.

A late repsones but I wanted to answer anyway.
Here on a old screenshot you can see that the SW Tram had couplers:

I removed them because they caused trouble, but this was 12 years ago!
The only thing I can remember is that it caused trouble in tight curves and in the functions of the tram.

So I think I will not re-add them.
