This could be a possible for a furture update for the SW Garbagetruck.
But at the moment the ToDo list is beg enough.

Be sure to remove all old SW content.

Your ideas are good to understand for me as far I can tell.
The ideas here would be possible and that was not the reason that I declined them.

They just wont fit in my opinion to this addon. If our SW Train Controller will ever be a stable version you can use the SW Tram for your suggested idea. (2a and 2b)

People asked in the past for the AMT sign to work with all SW Trains along with the SW Train Controller. So i decided to try to add the asked feature to the SW Train Controller addon.

But I can't promise anything! They are just concept where we not even started to work on.
The biggest problem in our addon development is time. We try to keep the work simple but in stable manner so things can't be too complicated or they will never be done.

I understand the ideas so far but i have to decline them.

There is no function at the moment that tell the tram to stop in a specific time.
It's just a coincidence that it stop after 2 seconds.

It works really simple:
Tram detect the sign => Engine power goes off

The tram is rolling until it stops on it's own. Ofcourse this varies with the given speed over the console command. That's also the reason why you can place the sign's where you want to get the tram stop at a specific point.

In the development we tried to add your suggested feature but it wasn't working well and needs much more programing that we thought so we kept it simple.


The Automatic Tram is supposed to be a one-wagon-tram and i wont change that.
It seems like you wish some kind of a bendi-tram or like passenger trains with wagons where you can walk through, which is ok but as i said not a feature for the automatic tram.

And if you wonder, the automatic tram only have couplers because people asked for it for the use of a automated train that they build with it. There doesn't had couplers in the first place.


Not gonna happen because it was related to your second idea.

Adding the possibility to change to different sounds could get fast to question like:

Can we get different light colors / smoke colors?
Or other configurations.

I could sink in micromanagment if that would start. So I have to say no.

You still have the option to use the WIRE addon to set any horn sound you wish with the pitch, volume and sound range as you like.

The trucks have at the moment 2 updates coming and other projects have at the moment higher priority. But I like the idea of more variants for the trucks, I could work on these ideas in the future.

If it will work with the physic of the said trains and doesn't look that bad I can add that.
But if it makes problems it will not be added. But at the moment other projects need to be done first.

Everything seems fine and can be released with our next big update.
Oh and i also added the railroad crossing. Because SW Train Sliders also got stuck there.
