It is like Grocel said, but I tested the map gm_monki and all works fine in the main branch version of gmod.

Beside that the slopes have very hard edges and aren't that smooth that trains would need to get on a different floor. What can only be considered as bad design, but it works.

And to gm_construct_flatgrass_v6-2, there is only one section that is difficult for my wagons but not for trains as far as I know.

So if you experience issues on gmod default branch, then we can help you.
But do to the gmod x64 branch game bug, we can't.

I'm afraid that I won't make such track pieces in the future without having my own train to drive on them. And even if I made that train, then I maybe have to build my own tracks for it.

Because if you want to create tracks, then they need an exact scale for length and circumference. Without considering this, you aren't able to build your own layouts or loops.

As I can see on your switch screenshots, they will not work for what we would need.
And to make an 45° cross, you need to build an exact 8 figure with the PHX rails and cut out the middle cross with the standard lengths that the PHX rails provide. If they don't line up exactly, that this is a proof for a bad scale of the PHX rails. This is just a guess, I have hardly used these rails.

Also the 90° cross that you made couldn't be used as own single prop because it would be longer that a normal track piece what would destroy the layout or loop that you create.

If PHX monorails would have correction pieces you could work around all the described cases above, but that wouldn't be necessary if the scale is exact.

I also noticed that the PHX rails (the normal ones and monorail) have an individually size and scale what need be measured first in order to create new track parts. Which is why it would be good to make an own railway set to avoid this measurement in the first place.

Building railway sets is based on math. If you made your own pack, then it would be easy to expand it. But adding more to an existing pack without an exact scale is annoying or messy.

I noticed that by reworking the PHX pieces from the previous suggestion. They used a scale that I wouldn't use or recommend.

But just in case a I made a fresh savegame with the described models and the tank and everything works just fine.

A long time ago we had a big update for all addons where we changed the file paths for models and materials to avoid future conflicts and for better file management.

I also didn't really used the PHX monorails but I understand the lack of usage from these rails. They have only standard pieces and nothing special like switches, turntables, crosses or something like that.

I will come back to this idea later after if I have more time to think about it.

Edit:
I could make someday a monorail as you suggested but possibly not for PHX monorails. And that will be very far in the future I'm afraid.
The backlog on the ToDo is at the moment very large.

I have no problems with the SProps rails, they work very well.
I don't really understand your problem with them.

The SProps rails have the standard PHX gauge (80 Units) even the small turn that is very tight seems good and stable for my trains.

The Battleships Abandoned Rails Pack didn't use the standard PHX gauge and is slightly too small. (79 units)

That's the reason why my trains wobble a bit on the tighter turns but the big ones are okish. That the trains start to derail sometimes in the damaged versions should be considered as normal.

And since the developer is not supporting his own addon anymore, there is nothing we can do about it. Beside that, I can't and wouldn't rework my train sliders for an track pack that didn't use the standard PHX gauge in the first place.
