this is my first "high quality" save and id like to know how i could improve incase i make a new one
Right off the bat before I get into it: and I know it's technically listed under "tags" but I would recommend adding "gm_bigcity" to the addons list, mostly just for convenience. Now, for the actual save:

First of all, the style is very classy. Remixes default assets in very creative ways, which I always like to see. But, the fog is a little overbearing. I would reduce it somewhat, or if the intended effect is a "dense smoke" because of the war and destruction, perhaps a close (but not completely covering the screen) smokey fog with some smoke effects that do cover your screen using particles, but only when you're actually next to a source of smoke (like a car on fire, a collapsing building, an explosion, etc).

The NPCs in your squad are a cool touch, but they are very impractical and often get lost or separated. I would recommend scripting them a bit with E2, or listing the "Followers Mod" to improve them somewhat.

I love the text system! No bias here, uhh, yeah. Also gotta love the custom prop dupes by BWA, they always help when you're going for a good "Modern Warfare" vibe.

It seems like the player also isn't given any weapons? Any HL2 weapons you get are only from dead NPCs (actual ones, fake dead don't seem to count) and no M9K weapons are supplied at the beginning. I went ahead and gave myself a SIG Sauer P229 and a G36C with one large ammo box for each, as that seemed fair and fitting for a "Global Federation" faction.

The open-ended approach to the map design is very interesting, although if you don't choose the "right" path it just ends up making the trip to the waste plant a lot more empty than it should be. Or, rather, empty areas shouldn't be as large and accessible as they are.

There are a LOT of enemies. For the amount of enemies you have to fight, I would imagine a friendly armored vehicle or a much larger fireteam than just 4 guys. Or better weapons. At this point I spawned an AUG so I could use something with a scope. Also spawned a P90 for secondary as it was much more potent, and had a large magazine.

Oh, it seems like, some sort of air strike was used at this part? But it didn't trigger right, so it didn't trigger at all but when I got close, it blew me up instead. I think you need a bigger trigger near this area, and also make sure it only triggers once.

The long sight lines in general just make it to where NPCs can't engage with you, which is not ideal. Either a mod to increase their sight range or otherwise use some method to make them fire at long range, even if it's not effective fire it's still better than standing completely still.

At this point we get a vehicle. With the Followers Mod, your guys can actually vehicles with you, which is pretty cool, but the vehicle we are given here doesn't come with any extra seats.

I actually went ahead and welded some seats to the car so my guys could come with. Looks funny but it gets the job done!

The finale is pretty cool, and I love the little OBJECTIVE pop ups. Some music would go very well here.

I killed the general and went back to the now open gate, but the objective popped up again. Not a big deal, and honestly it was kinda cool as it felt like more of a "mission complete" than a "new objective" marker.

Went to the helicopter for extraction. The fade to black was a nice touch, but could've used some sounds and text, maybe even teleporting the player to some sort of "debrief" or "thanks for playing" room afterwards. Overall, very nice save, especially for a first. Feel free to check out the guide and ask around if you need any help. I'm a bit busy some times but y'know.
