That is because that they patched an exploit that pervented the Strange Festive Sandvich from leveling up so quickly. In order to level it up, it's not only that you eat the sandvich, but you most have gained some health from it for the meter to go up. In other words, make sure that you are damaged before eating it. If your sandvich meter bar starts to regenerate, you have succesfully increased the counter on your sandvich. But if your counter doesn't go up when you use the sandvich when you have been injured, it might be a bug. You should report it to valve if it is so that it doesn't work on a normal server.

Just tested again what u said.. and just like before, i ate my own sandvich while being injured, still no change in the counter.

Nom it while not at full health.

Be aware that stranges update when you quit the current game, and often take a short while to update in BP examiners.

I'm aware of that. And its still not making sense. Its still not answering why after that amount of 'noms' i have around 8 'food items eaten' and not something like 70+ .

I have no idea, but could it be that there is a stats padding protection?
Maybe you were on a server with too few players, too many times 'nomming' in a row, only self-inflicted damage, ... or something like that?

Nop. servers were constantly 32/32 and i was nomming only while injured, not bite after bite, didnt try to abuse it with fast spawn sandvich either. i just played like i always play. Before i will contact steam about this, i have 2 more sf sandviches in my bp, i will try using them to see if my current sandvich is somehow glitched. I will post here my final results.

Ok so this is really strange..

I switched to my alt sf sandvich and since then the problem was fixed. Everytime i ate it went up +1, so i switched back to the glitched sandvich and its still okay now. WTF just happened? Did i refresh something?

P.S - The counter goes up while in game. no need to exit and re-enter the game.
