Question about appeals
My friend got banned in augest or September of last year after he was hijacked. Currently he is still banned even though he appealed at the time. I know that mods are probably backloged on appeals, but that many months seems like a long time. Could anyone shed some insight onto this?

If his appeal was closed due to him not providing information or not replying in a timely manner, then he has to add Mr Rager, who is linked on his appeal page. He'll sort it out for him.

Oh and also, if he is banned on steamrep, can he be unbanned on outpost?

If he's tagged on steamrep he won't be unbanned until he appeals the tag.

So if he is marked as a sr scammer he will need to have his appeal accepted their first before coming here to appeal?

(SR SOP scammer/caution) If you possess any of the tags above in addition to other community tags you must appeal with the other communities FIRST before appealing here. Appeals which do not follow this will be marked automatically INVALID.

Any TF2OP tag must be appealed on the forums to be removed from SR. He has not said whether or not his friend has a TF2OP tag, but since there are so many other communities, and TF2OP tags are not common, I assumed it was not ours.

Regardless of where it's from, all tags must be appealed before he's unbanned.
