Uhm, if someone asks me to wait one month to finish a deal i call this seriously rude. This is the internet and you are dealing with virtual items, how can you expect someone to wait for even 5 mins only to finish a deal?

Take a reality check, would a local store accept an order from you that you are going to pay one month later without any formal written contract? And you expect that from the internet? Get real and change your business model!

Valve doesnt like the game flipping therefor they made game gifts 30 days untradable after purchase, apparently this seems to have an effect. Also recently i saw quite a bunch of region locked games, all for strange regions like russia, south america and others ive never heard before, so this might affect the market as well.

Well, how do you know if someone, who sells something on scm, is a marked scammer? All you can see prior the transaction is the profile picture!

While your account isnt that new you pretty much have no games on it and also own almost nothing in the important games so people wont put much trust into you. There was/is still a huge business in the game flipping market and there are a lot of people with way more games on their accounts, multiple hundrets of dollars worth backpacks and long game trading history.

In comparision to them you look like freshly hijacked, you will already have a hard time selling giftable games, it will be next to impossible to sell non-tradable games with that competition.

Your goal is "i want all your unusuals for basically free to make huge profit off you", for exactly that reason this rule was made. There is a huge list of people who does this and this rule should prevent to multiply the number of trades by factor 10 / 50 without adding any extra value to the userbase.

Btw. in all your trade notes it says youre buying SCOUT unusuals :-P.

So, just to get it right, let me recap your story. So you found that experienced unusual trader who fully knowingly sold you his unusual for 0.04% of its value. Then you went on your journey and sold the hat again. But because you are a not so experienced unusual trader you realized that after fully knowingly selling this hat for 1200 times more than you bought it for this is only 60% of its value.

Now with fully knowing the outpost rules of sharking (make someone unexperienced pay less than 20% of the value) you decided to report that guy to who you fully knowingly sold your hat for sharking.

Is that about right? Well, what do i think about that? Im trading in TF2 since day one, i have seen a lot, lot of greedy people but even more really, really dumb people and thought i have seen it all ... then i found you.

Waste of time, just ignore them. With the recent change in the community you should see much less of these anyway.

The number in the box is the number of changes that happened in the trade, usually a new post or someone hid his post. To open the trade you click on its header, NOT on one of the buttons, as you already figured out the checkmark closes your trade.

You can however reopen the trade and answer the posts, but in this case i think you can save that because those people thought you give them 2 weapons for one.

You know, scrapbanking is sort of dead, especially on outpost. Also adding people is quite oldschool and unwanted, better enter your trade token in the settings and let people send you trade offers, this is the much preferred way today.
