Also try clearing your cache - some updates were pushed recently which may not have been re-cached your browser yet.

That's not a solution. That would completely ruin the user experience. Steam need to implement flood detection on friend requests, which would pretty much stop the phishers from continually adding and removing friends every 2 minutes.

Removing the "Add on Steam" button would do nothing, they can just look in the code to get your userid and then your steamid from that. This process is incredibly easy and unavoidable without removing 90% of user functionality.

This looks like it confirmed my initial fear that the backend servers are all out-of-sync. I've sent this to Operations so that they can take a look at it - it shouldn't be a huge thing to fix, but might take a few days for them to get around to it.

The international looking key is currently bugging out on the site and appearing instead of the treasure key. You can select that one and it'll search for Treasure Keys. This will be fixed soon.

I've managed to reproduce the issue by going through lots of UAE proxies until I found one that returned a blank white page for TF2 Outpost. We've sent this information onto Prolexic who will be taking a look at it today.

I'll let you know what conclusion they come to tomorrow!
