I was pointing at 1st bullet point - you can set your trade offer URL in the settings. It's been like that for ages.

Do you realize that you can retrieve Steam ID from trade offer link?

Regarding your points:

1. SteamID's are present almost on every single page. It's the only information that connects you and TF2OP. It's also the only piece of information provided by Steam's OpenID. You would literally have to include captcha on almost every page.
2. This would just lead to false positives.
3. These accounts are most likely created automatically. The more you report the more they make.

5. If only everyone knew about this possibility. + Trade offers are still lacking basic features such as proper notification (not the tiny green envelope). + This doesn't stop the bots from adding people.

You really can't. However you can use trade.tf search for this.

What for? You have no idea what you're talking about.

You don't seem to understand that:
- You don't need to login to harvest SteamIDs.
- You can harvest SteamIDs with legit account and pass them onto phishing bots. Phishing bot therefore never enters the website.
- There is no way to distinguish between real human browsing the website and bot scraping the website for data.

That won't do anything.
