Sorry I'm out again, I only posted because I found the idea of having "russian farmers" flooding TF2 with metal amusing. :P

I promised I'd stay out of this convo but I just have to drop a few notes. I chuckled at the "russian farmers" part, where do you get this info from? For as long as I've been trading I've met many metal farmers, brazilians, italians, mostly americans but never a russian farmer. Did you take the fact that there are tons of metal farmers and that there was talk about the russian key mafia, put those 2 together and create your own myth?

Anyway, a couple things to take into consideration. stats.tf gives you a close estimate, but you can never rely on it as an accurate source of data. There are private profiles, unscanned inventories, items are consumed/deleted every day, those numbers will never be accurate. Furthermore carders/hijackers will force duped items into the market, that's why the number of buds and keys are ever increasing. Just because the number of keys is increasing it doesn't mean those are being bought from the Mann Co Store (even though there are still people who buy from there, knowing they can get it cheaper from the Market, don't ask why).

I asked a similar question recently and I was told it's allowed. Just don't relist the trades on both accounts and you'll be fine.

And what would the Christmas price be? Because at Christmas they fell down in price and right after Christmas I found it easy to sell them well above bp.tf price. Probably because newbies who've completed a collection of new festives thought it would be nice to collect the old ones as well.

The guy offering a bunch of stuff on the bottom (fellhound) has enough keys in inventory to buy it but doesn't.

When you have pure and someone is asking for pure, you don't really have to comment. You just add them and trade. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make here.

If ref has not devalued than the key has increased in value. This does not mean that any of the "currancy" items priced in keys have also increased in value. If there were a run on Bills hats and those willing to sell them were running in short supply than bp,tf would recieve a request to up the price, lets say to ten keys. Would u say, no, its an excepted currancy item and can not move.

What. I don't even. For the 10th time, keys did not, repeat.. keys did not increase in VALUE.

I never said it wasn't important to me. However you have to understand that there are people out there who don't take it too seriously. Trading is a hobby for most and a hobby should be something that doesn't take up all your time. It's unrealistic to expect everyone to keep their prices up to date in a market that's ever changing. Heck even I find it difficult sometimes when I'm dealing with 100 items at once, I just can't keep track of every little change.
