I am wondering how traders feel about this. If add a Halloween paint to a hat, I think that it should be more valuable than normally calculated because of the idea that u have made, essentially, your own unusual. These paints are in very limited supply and will likely not come back in this way (I mean as a permanent change). Applying the paint to, say, a genuine or vintage hat of some value really creates a very unique hat that is highly rare. When all the paints are gone and the hats are proven to hold their paints they will be extremely rare.

Thoughts.

This trader appears to have stopped doing anything months ago. Whats weird is that the kringle post was made 4 months ago and he has offers that go back 5 months.

Fast trade or quick-buy means reseller. Its very common and beneficial. I have several quick-buy offers and will always tell people to get the best they can but if they don't want to wait then here is what I will pay. Look at it this way. The reseller is keeping the difference because they do the waiting. Be happy we have outpost so we can compare quick-buyers more easily. Although you should never expect to be able to negotiate the offer except with unusuals.

I don't, crates should have an ev that breaks even or be set to .05. I do, however, expect new crates to be able to trade to grant ev higher than the key it takes to open it for at least a day.

Those crates don't drop anymore and they contain popular items that are traded for higher prices.

Exactly. New crates with previosly nonexistant items should yield better for a little while. Crate 55 held an ev of 3.66 ref up until the new year. Which at the time was above the key.

Ultimately, it would be best if valve created a metal unit higher than the ref. Several actually. Something worth 3 ref, 8 ref, 14 ref.

I want to hear all suggestions. I even suggest changing what we accept as "currency". There are several items that could be used to replace the key in different ways. For example, the "sharp dresser" is an item that moves easily, Because of this it could be used as currency. All u need are items that translate easily to purchasing other items.
