Scamming anyone, even a scammer is considered scamming. 2 wrongs dont make a right and noone has the "right" to scam anyone. but id wait for an admin response. but im pretty sure any scamming is never justified.

a craft number (or any item for that matter) is only worth as much as people will pay for it or what you can sell it for.

Nice round craft numbers, palandromes, under 100, 101, 500 or significant numbers can all be collectable. But really any number can be collectable. You can check if an item has a craft number by checking your outpost backpack or looking at your bp form backpack.tf.

Levels are a bit more complicated, your best bet is to search for other sellers on outpost and checking their C.Os and B.o to get s sense of what people are buying your item for. I agree with kings analysis on special levels on craft hats, with the reasoning that craft hats are for the most part theoretically infinite and so more hats with special levels will have a near infinite supply. Vintage special levels are in limited supply and are most likely in a collection already.

Probably just a temp hiccup. When did this problem start? The new Outpost conflicts with the TF2OP tool box, so if you are running that i would disable it and see if that works.

hmm i see, i get the same thing when looking for tf2 to dota 2 items. If someone else has enlightening info it would be welcome. I'm gonna try tweak some settings. Could just be a temp bug from UI changes to the site filters.

Items in tf2 have " value" but that value is dependent on the community. Nothing is set in stone and all items are elastic. I feel like everyone is arguing different things and that thisthread is pretty derailed/ misunderstood. Eh
