The game can be fun, when it works. I feel the very positive review can be misleading as they add more to this game but dont actually fix anything. You can have great ping and servers, or you can be in the lump of people who cant play a single match without Packet Loss but have no reason for it. A big thing to remember when getting in is to make sure your sure you like it at 2 hours, because you dont get a choice after, and since you can barely get into the game in that time it can be rough. I would not recommend it unless you have friends or enjoy losing progress due too lag and such.

You may not encounter the same server issues some do, and be happy if you dont because holy cow is it infuriating. If they chose a proper server host with modern servers this would be fine, but they didnt and wont because $$$. If you are into the tarkov like experience of losing everything you work for when you go down, feel free to try it out! it can be fun, but the match making is trash, you can face both the worst in the server and best in the same match just because they qued with other MMR people. The community is toxic but thats to be expected with any competitive game, tbh if you want a good shooter with a stable game, less bugs by a mile and actual gun play mechanics that make sense, HALO Infinite is out now, but if you want a more hardcore game that you can both get a great feeling for winning and horrible one for losing, this is your game. I myself hate it, and even after 23 hours i cant wish more that i could refund it, i didnt realize i hated it till 5 hours in, when the server issues compounded and i couldnt accept it, but sadly steam said no so im stuck with it and play the odd time with friends only to regret it more.

TLDR: Its a buggy mess that the devs dont care to fix because people pay for it to be that way, the gunplay is atrocious and you lose everything on crash. You may or may not have okay servers, if not GL playing. BUT behind it all is a very fun game with friends that could be great if crytek wasnt another bungie.
