From a campaign perspective, trhis is the absolute buggiest game I've encountered in this series thus far. Textures failing to load properly and the constant random crashes make this game almost unplayable. There were instances where NPCs textures wouldn't render and I would be getting shot by invisible soldiers.

A WWII shooter that's not a multi-player focused/competitive matchmaking game where I can just endlessly frag bots and have fun. It doesn't try to sell you cosmetics, boosters, season passes, etc. The developer is extremely active in the development. I bought this a year or so ago and the progress on this is very promising. It reminds me a lot of Battlefront 1+2 (Original) and BF1942, with a mix of ARMA.

My only critiques are:
- AI needs some tweaking, or even using different formations. They often just follow the same paths making it predictable. They also seem to focus heavily on the player when they are within range, completely ignoring the other NPCs.

- Planes need some more maneuverability and balancing. You can go an entire match in just an airplane with bombs. Infantry need more anti-air options, even an AA halftrack or something.

Requests:
- Naval Warfare for Pacific campaigns

I'm going to be honest and say that it's a nice game, but entirely too easy and the drop rate for crit items is insanely high. I know this is early access and balancing is still being done, but the player ends up very OP in the early stages of the game. I think having more obstructions, snares and stuns from enemies would make the need to dash a little more serious.

Overall, I can't wait to see what this game becomes in the future!

In typical EA fashion, they release a change that was never asked for to solve a problem that doesn’t exist. ♥♥♥♥ companies that push invasive, kernel level anti-cheat and shadowban players who had purchased a “license” to play a game that had little to no issues with moderation from the community against cheaters.

I think rifle grenades could get nerfed a little since it's spammed a lot, but if you like stuff like Verdun, Tannenberg and other military shooters, this one is for you.

Read the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ room Gajin. A 30% off sale on Russian vehicles as Ukraine is being invaded is not appropriate. You are trying to cash out on other people's suffering. ♥♥♥♥ off.

They really need to fix covenant vehicles with boost in Reach/H2/H3. A player abusing them can carry an entire team to victory in Big Team Slayer across multiple games in just a Banshee or Ghost getting vehicular kills. Not fun for anyone except the driver, and it seems to be players using mouse/keyboard that really abuse this. If you don't want to suffer from this cancer, play smaller modes, but I generally like the bigger team modes when it's not infested with vehicle abusers.

Edit: The controller configuration for this game is also not very intuitive. It used to detect my 360 controller out of the box, but now I have to specify I am using a 360 controller via Steam before the game will recognize it.

I just wanna say that I've been following this game since it's debut on ModDB as a mod for Unreal Tournament 3 and have been following it's progress as an all out game of its own on Unreal 3 Engine. I have to say WOW! You guys have done a lot of work on this and I am so proud of you! The only thing I would suggest is a more intuitive menu for select weapons and gear for yourself, as the loadout menu isn't all that obvious.

For the game itself though, if you want to mindlessly run around and kill stuff, board ships and spacestations, space battles, etc, this is definitely your game. The AI are definitely not dumb in a single-player offline mode. I have yet to encounter anyone actively playing multiplayer yet, but hopefully on the full release of this game there will be more activity.

If anything, this game reminds of the glory days of Star Wars Battlefront 2 without the Star Wars.

Really love this game with the amount of time I have played it. I started playing it right after it became available and they've added a ton of new content to the game since I last played it. I am still waiting for optimization to come through. The new planet system is really nice and doesn't eat up a lot of resources (loads details when you get close). I flew from the friggen moon all the way back to Earth within 20-30 minutes... with just a jetpack. Imagine how fast you'd be able to jump from planet to planet with a decent ship. One thing I would really love to see is more RP based items where you can host RP servers, like furniture, uniforms/armor and other things you can craft. Maybe even a trading system.

I'll have to come back to this once I put more time in, but from what little I did play, I'd recommend it.

This game is great if you love large-scale infantry based combat. The weapon mechanics, the team play and the maps make this game great. There is always a different strategy to winning a game depending on the map and your roles dictate how you approach that strategy. The only thing I didn't understand about this game were the tanks. They felt more placebo and served more as an annoyance than providing any meaningful value to determine the outcome of a game. Especially if you've got a guy playing dedicated AT Rifle and know where to aim, you can knock out a tank crew and make it completely useless before it does any real damage to your team.

Rising Storm is a completely different beast of its own. I haven't played much of the Rising Storm expansion solely because the pacific theatre is not my cup of tea. I don't really have any gripes about the units or weapons yet, but from what little I did play, the Japanese are pretty gimped. Historically, yes, they were gimped, but the developers really have to sit down and determine if they want this to be competitive or realism. If they want realism, what is the point of playing the Japenese at all? The outcome of the game is already determined with the US having the flamethrower. The amount of map control you have with a flamethrower is ridiculous. At least with RO2, the Axis and the USSR is pretty balanced and teamwork usually wins the game regardless if the map is more in favor of one team.

So in total, I recommend Red Orchestra 2, not so much Rising Storm.
