this game is unplayable. it has by far the most insane disconnect penalties ive ever seen in my life and it crashes and disconnects frequently so you get stuck in penalty purgatory where you need to play so many games to lose the disconnect penalty, theres no way you can do it before the game screws up and you get hit with another penalty. the penalty means you cant play any ranked or casual matches for days, you dont get XP or loot box drops, you can only play custom matches where half your team is afk and you attack some other afk guys or get whooped being the only non-afk player.

i really tried with this game, played for 3 months and had some fun, begged the devs to fix the stupid disconnect penalties or make the game not crash ideally, but they do nothing and now the game is literally unplayable. game crashes, i cant play for 4 days, 4 days later game crashes again mere hours after penalty expires while im playing a custom match and now i cant play for 4 days again. this game is literally unplayable.

top that off with the fact you cant find enough players for a ranked game except mornings and weekends, and even then its rough. outside of those times you can spend hours searching for a ranked match.

if you ever have any fun playing this game the devs will RUSH to nerf it.

this is one of the most shallow games ive ever seen. its like a world of warcraft battleground if you stripped away all strategy and made the map so tiny there was no thought about where to go. the heroes are insanely unbalanced and your playtime can mostly be spent running back to the battle to get clobbered by the hulk in 2 seconds again. yeah i read comics, i know the hulk can clobber me in 2 seconds, but it doesnt make much of a game. unfortunately itll probably top all games for profit because everyone going to buy skins for it.

this game is fantastic, it was tons of fun when i first got it and there has been tons of content added since for free. its got all the core features you want in a wrestling game unless licenced fighters are the biggest thing for you.

is it the greatest wresting game of all time? No... but also Yes!

i played some tribes back in the day but wasnt hard into it as some others. what really sets it apart from others is the fast paced skiing and the fun guns. i was always having fun just skiing around the map, working out the jump thrust so you land perfectly on the next slope and get crazy speed going. to top that off you can blast others with all sorts of classic weapons and weapons unique to tribes. it fully satisfying to perfectly time things so someone skis into your disc, or even better when you pick them out of the air. it may turn some people off who dont like things that arent the same as COD because you need to learn to ski or youll get owned. its not that hard to do but if you master it, it makes a big difference.

im not sure what some of these recent reviews are bombing it for. one complains it didnt get updated for 2 months, which doesnt seem like a long time, and if you check the date the game got updated shortly after. others are complaining its dead but ive been playing on a thursday afternoon so far and i didnt have to wait long for games. games so far have been the hardcore players that have been playing a long time and wrecking me, and ive been in games with total noobs who are playing this like a regular FPS, running around trying to shoot things, not skiing across the map, but whatever i need kills too.

this game is almost perfect. i play with a logitech flight stick and its amazing, also pretty good with a controller. you should absolutely get this game.

my largest complaint is its hard to tell whats shooting at you so you dont know what action to take, eg. are you taking strafing fire from a capital ship or is a fighter on your tail blasting you from behind? standard indicator lights up to let you know the direction, and voice actors say things like 'one on your tail' or 'your too close to the cruiser' but just because they say theres a guy on your tail doesnt mean thats whats shooting at you in a large 3D space dogefight. each attack requires different action to best evade but you often dont know until youre dead.

this game deserved more, i was ready to buy some DLC, i feel they could have easily added way more ships and campaigns from the first order & high republic eras to keep this game fresh. i feel like if they dropped a $5 millennium falcon ship dlc you can use in online multiplayer and boba fetts slave1 this game would get a huge surge that would make it worth dropping a new campaign dlc with some clone wars ships.

now its hard to find a multiplayer game online. i tried playing with my friend online the other week and we could only do training. if we tried to find a match online we were wating almost 10 minutes and couldnt find anyone else to join our game on a saturday night. the annoying part is you dont seem to be able to launch with bots. i can play solo with bots, but cant play with a friend and some bots against the bots.

this game is everything i ever dreamed an aliens game to be. the graphics are sick, levels look amazing. you have a host of guns from the movies that you can use like the famous and awesome smart gun. the aliens look awesome and the animations are great when youre mowing them down, they slip and stumble as they rush you. the story is excellent, audio engineering as well.

you can play a bunch of different classes that at first may seem that many are boring but after playing most are well balanced and fun. the game is super fun when you have some friends to play with that are decent too. there are swarm modes where you can mow down waves of aliens or you can play the campaign missions.

if i had to complain i would wish there are more campaign missions, there are about 12 and ive played them to death leveling up different guns and classes.

ive been playing counter strike for 22 years now. its ok.

basically a fancy looking atlas, which you never get to see because youre piloting it. i dont feel they did anything really great to this to make it $20 better than buying any atlas in game with the free in game money. pretty disappointing. they should have given MASC or some quirk to make it stand out. it just has low chance to take crit. the build it comes with can be easily improved upon by swapping to er small lasers, it can take the heat easily. the stock build doesnt have case on the ammo in torso so if it crits ppl will laugh at you.

just save your $$ and buy an atlas with free in game currency. or get the Howl, that really has worthwhile differences over other timber wolf mechs that make it more worth it.

i jokingly said "i broke down and got the pay to win mech." to my friend as i selected the Howl for our first drop. Then i got 6 kills.

i really love this mech, if youre a Timber Wolf fan you will probably love it too. it has MASC and jump jets making it manoeuvrable easy to peak a corner or pop tart to blast some ATMs, or get into a better position rapidly. the ATM quirk is pretty nuts, extending the max damage range of the ATMs to almost 500m.

i had to drop some jump jets to make more room for ATM ammo, and i added MGs because LMGs are trash. heads up, you may have noticed from the pics but this is not an omnimech like other timber wolves.
