This game is amazing. If you like building stuff and engineering, then buy it!

TLDR - 8/10, Definitely worth $35AUD (about $25 freedom bucks) in it's current state.

The Good-

*Probably the best and most immersive WWII shooter I've ever played.

*Amazing GFX (seriously. The explosions are crazy good.)

*Sound is on point. (mostly.)

*The suppression effect really works.

*in game comms are reliable, and a nice feature is they get jammed (everybody is talking at once so you can't understand anything) when everything falls apart, which is kinda realistic. It would be cool if you could turn off the radio and only use local chat, or use hand signals to help with that. It would kinda help as a squad lead.

*The entire battlefield has an organic and realistic feel.

The bad-

*[The big one]Twice I had gained a ton of levels, and went from level 2 to 11+, but the next level loaded before it was done giving me my XP, and none of it saved. Again, it happened twice in a row, so it's a bit of a game breaker for me. (Also, play as a medic and revive the front lines if you want to power level apparently.)

*Random lag spikes (from 43 up to 470 at its worst) on official servers. It wasn't just me, a lot of people were complaining in the chat.

*Can't hear the radio over nearby tanks, even when I was about 50 meters away and behind stuff.

*[not really that bad]Maybe this is just a personal preference, but I find it a bit better to be able to hold the spacebar right as you run at something to hop it, instead of having to run to it and hit the spacebar. Kinda takes the hustle out of my flow a little bit... And I get yelled at with a steel wind... To death!

*Last, and probably the worst thing on this list, is that I still have to wait for my next check to buy this game... It really sucks.

The graphics won't blow you away, sometimes the gameplay is a bit buggy and stuttery. Sometimes when you spawn a giant complex vehicle, it can get downright laggy. But Ghetdemmit, this game's got heart!
Any sort of ridiculous ship you want to build, you can. Don't want to build anything? There's enough on the workshop to keep you sailing, or flying, or driving a different machine every time you play until you get sick of playing!
I've got 3 saves going. One is a survival and exploration game, Another is an advanced vehicle mission game, and the last one is a start with nothing career mode. So if this game looks interesting to you at all, there's definitely a way to play it you'll enjoy.
9/10, would tsunami again

If you put all the grind from this game into the meat industry, they could sell off all their meat grinders and feed the entire planet burgers every day, until the end of time.

Update: Gaijin can suck a big one for their blantant attempts to kill the free to play aspect of the game. Maybe develop a new game that's not free if you want to make money instead of kicking your cash cow to death

Admittedly, I'm not very good at the game. However, the match making system is absolutely broken. I play with a buddy and we have an MMR of 2. We're then pitted against 5 and 6 MMR teams. I then view the score board and they've thrown in people who have just purchased the game and don't even have an MMR rating yet. How is that fair to us, or more importantly the brand new people?

I would rather play in an empty lobby than against people I don't stand a chance against.

Blatant cheaters are also a constant problem, and they seemingly do nothing about them.

The devs are more focused on creating new skins for constant cash grabs and pumping out constant events than fixing their game. Maybe if they fixed their sh*t, old players would come back.

I can't recommend this game in it's current state.

This game... in my 34 hours playing it and hacking the money to see what direction I wanted to go in my legit play (I'll harvest and sell your cheat shaming tears if you call me out on it.) I've barely scratched the surface of this game. Its amazing to be simply put. I honestly dont so much feel like this is a game as much as it's an experience.
Theres a few minor bugs I've encountered, but they seem to be squashing a bunch of them every day. The devs seem to love their games and always do right by the players in my experience.

If you want a space experience with minimal hand holding and like being left on your own to figure things out, I'd safely say you can you can buy this game with no worries. (There are tutorials, but they're not super in depth.)
If you're just looking for a space shooter, I'd probaby look elsewhere. This game is a bit on the hardcore and unforgiving side.

Really good looking game, and the dinosaurs are awesome! But... Not for the price. It definitetly needs more content to make it worthwhile. Also, the UI is kinda clunky, and theres no map for the hot keys. you *have* to progress through the campaign (some of which makes 0 sense on a practical level. I.e. Why in the *hell* would you build a park on a tiny island thats somehow always in the dark and constantly hit by hurricanes??) Also, it doesnt seem to matter what kind of fence you build, if the dinos want out, they just attack the fence until they can escape. I just started building all of mine with the cheap ones, cause if you keep your dinos happy, they stay put anyway.

Overall, I'd say, defnitely get this game, but dont pay more then 30 USD for it. Not recommending because of the price.

This really does put the simulator in space simulator. each system is dependant on something else (energy core on coolant, coolant on power, power on the reactor, etc.) It also provides several new and fun ways to break your ship unlike in other games! If you break your electrical system or isolate a valve, you actually have to go below deck to reset it.

Its got a really steep learning curve, but once you get it, its really quite fun. its definitely worth the $30.

So, I'm really sort of on the fence with this game. Its built off a great concept and it runs smooth and looks good.... But I don't quite think $40 is the right price tag for this.

I have low playtime atm, because i'm debating a refund. Again, not because its necessarily a bad game, but I just dont know if i see getting $40 worth of fun out of it. If i decide to keep it, i'll update this review.

Played it a bit more, and decided to keep it. It really is more of a political simulator then anything else, still not worth $40 in my oppinion, but I dont regret keeping it.
