Scarlet City of Devils is a hand drawn art metroidvania with a fun battle system, the story is about scarlet who ventures on a mission to take down enemies who's causing a ruckus all over the city and stop their ultimate goal.

The game offers many weapon styles to fight with from swords to axes to guns. Each weapon style will become crucial during battle moments to stop the momentum of the challenging and fierce bosses you will come across in your journey.

Amazing soundtracks for each biome and engaging battle music for bosses. Lots of secrets to find and collectibles to purchase to gain increase health / damage.

Morkull Ragast's Rage is an Action Metroidvania with many precision platforming sections. It's about Morkull who's a character that was imprisoned inside a game and your job is to help him beat the devs of the game and free him.

The concept is a new and funny idea which is also unique to other games. The game has lots of hard platforming challenges that will test your skill. There are no Max HP upgrades in the game hence taking a hit inbetween save points will come at high cost, however there is a skill tree with potions / skills upgrade that will assist you on your journey.

Lots of secrets and collectibles to find as well as challenging boss fights that will put your skills to the test. Awesome soundtracks and level designs along with the art of each single enemy and boss.

If you love challenging & heavy platforming action metroidvanias, then this is a great one to try out.

Makis Adventure is a fun and short 2.5D Metroidvania with side scrolling stages as well as an open water aspect that you will use later on to travel to different islands / biomes, it's about a character named Maki who ventures to take revenge on the monster giant Octavio who is ravaging the nearby seas.

The open water aspect is fun which you can use to embark on nearby islands and complete them with many secrets and puzzles to solve. The developer was inspired by hollow knight designing this game and I really found it fun. Your character transformers into a shark the moment you touch water surfaces and goes back to his normal form once you're out of the water.

The Controls were super solid and Transitions were smooth, I didn't face any bugs. The Dev released a major update recently which includes fun Mini Games and lots of polishing and bug fixes. I have tried all the mini games and they were a very nice add I can say.

The soundtracks were great and the boss fights were amazing, not very challenging yet very fun to tackle. You will meet many NPCs on your journey who will offer you side quests for rewards.

I can say the game was entertaining and short at the same time and it's really recommended if you love Metroidvanias in general.

Gal Guardians: Demon Purge is a 2D Action Adventure Platformer with metroidvania elements. You play as Shinobu and Maya whose school were overtaken by demons and you venture on a mission to find out the culprit behind the scheme.

The game consists of multiple stages some platforming sections. The game will remind you of classics like castlevania series. Defeating bosses will give you certain abilities to reach certain areas you weren't able to reach before and discover secrets that you might need later on in the game.

The sountracks and music were right on. The boss battles were amazing and challenging at the same time. I had fun playing the game and definitely waiting on the upcoming sequel.

INTI CREATES games will exceed your expectations and this is just one of them. It might not be for everyone but if you're into 2D Action Platformers especially with the anime theme, then this is a really good recommendation.

Cosmic: A Journey Among Shadows is a precision platformer metroidvania with lots of action and enemy challenge sections. You venture on a journey in the shadow realm to recover your lost shadow, on the way you will find so many allies that will help you throughout your journey.

The game offers multiple platforming sections with over 9 different biomes, the platforming is fun and not very hard which makes it enjoyable even for average platformers players. Also, at the same time it has lots of enemy encounters which sometimes will require your quick reactions in a battle.

The soundtracks were a nice touch, relaxing and enjoyable throughout your gaming session from the beginning till the end. The boss battles had some really nice and unique ideas, enjoyed each single one of them.

The story dialogues were very funny and interesting to read every and each single one which is a plus. The game recently came out of Early Access and it definitely didn't disappoint. Thanks to the team for their hardwork over the past few years.

If you loved a mix of Precision platforming and action, then this is really recommended. Overall Rating 10/10

Elypse is a challenging 2D Action Platformer about a character named Fay who was sacrificed and thrown into the abyss, now you have to find your way back to the top to get out.

The game offers intense platforming challenges that will put your skills to the test, but amazing at the same time, you will gain crucial abilities as you playthrough the game to overcome those different challenges.

The music and sountracks were top notch enjoyed listening to them while going through each biome. Amazing boss fights that will test your patience and quick reactions.

If you're a big fan of 2D Action Platformer, then this is a must play. Truly an amazing game.

Oirbo is a metroidvania about a robot on a spacecraft, you will be tested with heavy platforming sections filled with spikes, electrical wires and saws.

The game offers a huge world with unique biomes each has their own secrets to uncover and many different enemies that will test your precision and timing skills.

As you traverse the world, you will face formidable bosses that upon defeating will give you special skills allowing you to reach previously unexplored locations and sections of the map.

I personally had fun with this as it combines intense action along with many platforming challenges. The hand drawn animations and the soundtracks were so nice and calming allowing for long hours of gaming and relaxation.

The game was recently released from Early Access (EA) and seeing lots of potential in this. The Dev is working non stop on polishing the game even more and it's already great.

Metal Suits: Counter-Attack is a 2D Action Platformer about a space colonel who seeks out on a mission to get a revenge for his friend. The stages represent a planet system like where each planet is a separate biome full of platforming challenges as well as many hidden secrets.

The combat system involves battle suit capsules which gives you random powers each has their own unique look and attack style. They are fun to learn all because once you master them, they will definitely come in handy at crucial battle moments.

Devastating and challenging boss fights that will test your quick movement and dodging skills. Well designed sountracks as well as the Pixel Art style which immediately caught my attention.

This is really recommended for 2D Action platformers genre fans. Overall Rating of 10/10

Mago is a 2D Action Platformer with 7 different worlds & biomes that will test your platforming skills in different aspects. The game is about a sorcerer who's princess was kidnapped by the overlord and you venture on a mission to save her.

The game offers many secrets to uncover as well as time attack stages where you race against time for amazing rewards. There are life upgrades, wand upgrades and over 20 different costumes that each has their unique look.

The soundtracks were top notch in each biome especially the boss fights, I enjoyed every single one of them. Late game has interesting stages that will test your patience and focus, they are challenging yet well made at the same time.

I'm really surprised that this game didn't get much attention at its release. It's one of the best 2D Action Platformers out there and If you're a big fan of this genre then you should really check this out. I played it in 2025 and I don't regret it.

Well Polished game and not a single bug, lots of fun time and laughs. Truly recommended with an overall rating of 10/10

ReSetna is a Sci-fi metroidvania where you fight your way through multiple biomes and defeat its guardians. The game has fun mechanics and skills that will keep you engaged through multiple platforming sections and challenges rooms of enemies.

You will uncover lore and secrets during your playthrough. The game uses chips system where you have a grid and need to place your chips in a tetris shapes in order to get upgraded stats. Different weapons to choose from on whatever suits your play style, from ranged to melee.

The soundtracks in the background of each biome were very engaging and great at the same time. Challenging destructive boss fights that will keep you on your toes.

This is a very recommended metroidvania if you're a big fan of this genre. Overall Rating 10/10
