This is not a bad version of Disgaea 5. The removed features were online rankings and map making related.
I don't have another console to play this on, so I'm greatful for the PC release. I'm a huge fan of the company and have played most of their srpg titles:

I've dumped probably around 800 hours into all those titles combined, quite small for a big fan but still.

ALL OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS, boil down to Leftist Californian entitled brats. They don't realize that they are hurting the Developers ability to make new and better games. They are also hurting PC sales, and reducing effort that would go into future PC ports. They think that they're teaching the developer a lesson, but all they are doing is giving a great game a poor review.

Buy the game! I did, and I regret nothing. In fact, I'm thankful they removed the online features, so that I don't have to share my game with those worthless pieces of garbage parading around as intelligent human beings.

OK, so where do I begin.

1. Flashlight on second player is used to find items such as ammo. What you do is shine it on every crevice in every hallway and room and look for something sparkling. Otherwise you'll run out of ammo. So that's fun.

2. Zombies having long realized that everyone is aware of their only weakness, their uncovered head, and have taken to wearing full metal masks so as to be more protected against non dead humans. Only the stronger zombies have access to this armor though.

3. Where the flying ♥♥♥♥ are the save points?

4. Remember castlevania? Well this isn't quite as bad. But you do have to do a lot of backtracking through the levels.

5. just because... ♥♥♥♥ this game.

The prettiest boring game I've ever played.

I personally do not find the game to be fun. It's also really difficult to play. Gameplay is tedious, much like real work. People talk to you but you have no time to read what their saying. I think the game was supposed to be played for the political message and certainly not because it's fun.

Okay, so...

I love this game even though I have not modded it. I must have played the tutorial mission well over 70 times. Using the various weapons to destroy the enemies body part by body part is something I recommend putting on your bucket list.

Controlling your own personal fedex space rocket is something that never gets old. Flying your fedex space rocket into the enemy hover ship is also something that never gets old.

I would not use the word "strategy" to describe Cortex Command. This game is not about strategy; it's not about much of anything as far as I can tell. However, if any of you are interested in the physical and scientific behavior of rocket propelled chainsaws, this game will answer your questions.

This game is beautiful, but it's no sequel to the 2d sonic series. Like most games, the greatest amount of effort went into the first few levels. After that the level design became unbearable to play through and I really tried. The game was made with speed runs in mind, but it allows the player to equip speed enhancing items.

All in all, it's not a great game. That doesn't mean there isn't a few hours of fun in here for you, just don't expect much more than that.
