This is the best open world game I've ever played; it combines all the good aspects of every great open world game of the last 15 years to make a breakthrough in the field. As for how the game ranks along side the previous Fromsoft titles, it's honestly lackluster in one major aspect. The level design that initially drew me into the studios games is all but faded to say the least, this was obviously a conscious decision as to make the game's map appear more open but in my opinion it seems like two steps back and one forward.
Overall though, it's a great game and I've had a blast playing it. I only wish to not see the strides made by the studio in past games to go to waste.

Amazing setting, great characters, god-tier graphics with amazing optimization, entertaining story and good shooting mechanics. My only concern is that the game is actually really easy, I only died around 5 times in my initial play-through and I'm not even that great at shooters, it really seems like hardcore is the best way to play the game for most people.
Overall great experience, 9/10 would splooge my pants over dimitrescu's giant beluga milkers again.

A great survival horror game with a unique setting, and interesting characters. A great point to start for people new to the franchise.

This is probably one of the best horror games I've ever played and I cannot recommend it enough. It is admittedly kinda buggy and there is a fair amount of jank than goes into progressing in this game, but that feeling when you make it to that next glock mag or syringe is exhilarating and just keeps me coming back for more. The fact that there is so much to this game and yet the devs chose to make it free is just awesome, there really seems like there's allot of replay ability here considering there are multiple endings, different modes, collectibles, challenges that give rewards like in-game items, and even p2p multiplayer (if you can get it to work properly). Overall, this is a 10/10 from me, and is a must for any survival horror fan.

Well let me just start of by saying iv'e put over 200hrs in to this game and i i'm going to put more in because this game is just so great you can go anywere you want like places from your favourite games movies animes you name it and theres probably a map for it. This game is great if you just want to chill or make new friends and just have all around a fun time.Iv'e met probably some of my best friends from this game.I play this game in vr mode so i dont really know if this game is as fun as it is on desktop but in vr this game is great.10/10

I've played all the way through the story mode twice now, once on the PS4 release and now on PC, that well over 200 hours and I still get surprised by just wandering around the map, this game is a bottomless pit of things to explore.
The story mode is probably one of the best open world games I've ever played. I never seem to get bored and the amount of detail put into every location, weapon, consumable, animal, and person is amazing. The actual story is actually pretty decent and I think most people can relate to Arthur Morgan.
The online is another ballgame. I really wanted to like it, but I just can't. The world just feels so empty and everything is locked away behind some kind of paywall. In its current state, it is a complete wast of time.
Overall, The story is amazing, but the online needs work.
