This game is dope af.

I was wary about the rearranged soundtrack but I was happy to hear it do the original some justice (original composer: Yoko Shimomura). If you're familiar with the original game, you're pretty much going to get the same experience. If you're new to this, don't expect a typical Mana series story. The game is essentially an anthology of events that could be different with almost every playthrough depending on your land placements. Don't expect it to hold your hand either, you'll be going to towns and talking with NPCs to get a sense of where to go in this game. If this isn't your jam then it's probably not a fit for you.

As with a lot of RPGs from the late 90s, a lot of the mechanics of the game are not fully explained, but tbh I think part of the charm is just winging your way through it and experiencing the world as you like. The game isn't too difficult, so I wouldn't worry about finding an optimal way to play.

The music in this game is lovely, and the background and character art are very pretty. This definitely hits the nostalgia bone for me, but I think it’s cool to see how action-RPGs have evolved since this game. I'd recommend this if you're looking to vibe with weird/cute characters with weird/cute stories.

I duno, mining copper kinda sucks. Everything seems exciting to do but it takes so long to mine it doesn't really seem worth it.

An overall improvement of the first game. If you like Dark Souls with some weeb spice, then you'll like this.

If FF13 was actually fun to play but had still had a weird and convoluted story/character arc. I still liked it tho, but that's because I like FF games in general.

If the dude from prometheus was in a dark souls game and there were weird beings that might be speaking some kind of polish, then you'd have this game. Also the game is good if you like dark souls.

Concept is simple and easy to play. It's a nice game to just chill and chat with your friends!

10/10 the chinchillas were the best part. Great story. I really enjoyed chinchillin with my homies while playing this game.

I liked it. Not as good as RE2, but still fun. A little more action oriented than mansion puzzle solving.
