Oh nice a new strategy game for me to try out.

Oh look they made an open beta!

Right lets get started with a nice little game with some easy AI bots, you know, to ease me in.

Holy #$@&%*! that AI was easy?

Oh well i meanged to beat it in the end, lets try normal...

Ok, #$@&%*!, #$@& this, these guys just created Skynet and placed it in this game to then go on to destroy humanity.

10/10

Skynet is coming

CAT Interstellar feels like a project someone is going to use on their CV as an example of technical ability for future hiring in the game industry, not a game i would attempt to sell.

What i mean to say by that is, it's short, but what is there is very impressive. I actually loved the concept of the game but this is a showcase of ability and NOT a game that you can charge people for in good conscience. It's not finished...hell, i'd go as far as to say it's not even started.

I guess my main issue with this game is it's just not worth paying for, this really should of been a free game and i got it for a measly 47p from Humble Bundle. When it's not worth 47p then you know it was in trouble from day one.

I have seen other people try and make out this had intended to be a larger project, i just don't see it, when you played the game it all feels half-arsed and unfinished like all the attention when to things like graphics and lighting effects. They could have easily wrapped the story up with one cut scene or 2 mins of game play, instead they left the already poor story completely unfinished.

In conclusion i recommend if you feel that must play this game then get the game on steam and play it for the 60 odd mins it takes to finish (not a joke) and then get refund from steam.

If the game had been free i would of given it a positive review even with it's short comings.

P.S (to the devs) - If you take what you did here and made a real game with a real ending, even if it was just 4-6 hours long, i would buy that game in a heartbeat.

Start a game as an Eastern Christian faction.

Get 20-30 turns in and realise that you're pretty much the only Eastern Christian faction around the general area.

Realise you can't capture and hold anything substatial AFTER you pick a fight with the most powerful faction in the game an their 10 allies or tribute states.

Spend the next 50-60 turns fighting 11 nations while trying to quell rebellions in all of your provinces.

Curse the game and its cruel AI.

Overcome all the odds and finally win with the most exilirating sense of accomlishment.

Realise you're the MVP on the map now and enact revenge on your enemys and anyone who stands in your way!

10/10 - Would spread Christianity like the plague again.

Every review is negative and i can't figure out why? If you are like me and played DOW3 as your introduction to the series you probably found it a fun and enthraling experience. If like every other reviewer i can see on here you wanted something more like one of the earlier reditions of the series they maybe just stick with one of them.

Come on guys the game isn't "BAD", it just wasn't DOW1. Who wants the exact same thing again anyway?

Honestly if this your first introduction to the DOW series then this is a fun experience.

So please ignore the amount of hours I have played because I actually already completed this Game 2 times one on my original Xbox and then I replayed it after playing Fable 2 on my 360 so I’m just starting my 3rd run and Oh boy am I excited!

In a world were your choices define the world around you, how others perceive you and even how you looks change based on how you play you will make a perils journey of growing up from a Small boy into a young man after your family are killed and you must embark on journey of Revenge in a Rich Fantasy world laced with heaps of comedy.

So off you go thundering around the Kingdom of Albion kicking every Chicken in sight and farting on any man, woman or child dumb enough to allow you near them.

The one thing that always amazed me about this game and it still rings true today is how much fun can be had from being "BAD" you wonder into a village you have terrorised them and then the people cower in fear and scream for there lives at the mere sight of you.

The same with being "GOOD" people will praise you and sometimes even cheer in the great heroes presence....and trust me I know this just a game but its really really cool.

In fable - The Lost Chapters you will laugh you will cry and I'm sure you will most likely die from time to time too.

This is game is a Classic Among classics and is worth every penny of the £6.99 price tag.

8/10

An absolute must for any self respecting RPG lover.

When you think of the term of value for money this series of games defiantly one that springs to mind I picked up Commando 1-3 for just £1.49 and after playing just seven hours of this first game in the series i suddenly realise the massive undertaking i have undergone.

Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines is a very complex game that rely on stealth and a great amount of thought because each one of your soldiers is very unique in its own way with different weapons and ability’s you will need to plan each mission accordingly with a large amount of time being trial and error as you cycle your way though various scenarios and a bunch of saves to keep from having to keep replaying the same part of mission a bunch of times just cross a river (for example).

Commandos Despite its advanced age and limits when it comes to Graphics and Mechanics is still a delight to play its very responsive and i have yet to find a single bug, That said i would say if you are not used to graphics from the time when this game came out (1998) then expect it to make minecraft to look "polished" in comparison but if you can look past that you will be in for a lot of fun.

This game in undoubtedly one of the best Stealth Strategy games iv have played i would even say its up there in my Military Strategy lists.

Summery:
The true testament to this game is its age and the fact it still holds a good number of Positive reviews to this day.

Even more impressive this Game is still getting updates 18 years after its release now that must say something.

Game play is fun and with out a doubt challenging and I think being centred around real events in history gave this game a huge Boost for me, The only NEGITIVE I can find is its not a short game expect to get lost for huge amount of time as you try and navigate the levels in various ways trying not to get spotted.

My only regret was not picking up this game 18 years ago especially now I know practically works just about any Pc.

Its £1.49 people can you afford not to pick this one up?
